Decent tv with glitches

Also when turned on it sometimes flickers very rapidly distorting the picture for a small time. Definitely invest in a better model if you want no problems.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Bought it in 2018 for $650.00. 13 months later the screen display started to display serious discoloration. I contacted Best Buy and they refused to provide any service due to the fact I did not purchase extended protection. I then contacted Samsung and they would not honor to repair the defect because the TV past the warranty period by one month. (Warranty - 12months from purchase) 650$ for 13 month and now the TV is unviewable. I have always bought Samsung devices but the quality control and customer service is so poor that I will definitely give others like SONY a try. SAMSUNG wouldnt even offer me a discount to purchase a replacement TV. Who would in their right minds would be comfortable with paying $650 for one years use. That is unacceptable quality control and customer service on both ends. 3/7/2020 this TV is now $330.00 I wonder why ?!?! It is the worst Samsung TV. I wouldn’t pay $100 for it and neither should you. Unless you don’t mind being on the market for another TV a year later.

The only downside is the onboard processor for the APPs doesn’t seem to ever be working properly. If you have an Apple TV or other device to stream Hulu or Netflix on you won’t run into any problems. All in all an okay buy.
