When it works it is great.

The other major issue is it almost never connects to the wifi which is on the other side of my wall so it is less than 30 ft away from the router and the trouble shooting system on it does absolutely nothing so I have to sit there for 5 minutes turning the tv on and off again until it connects. Otherwise it is quite laggy and often slow compaired to the tcl tv that was 4k and a 55in and $100 cheaper and only came with the roku app installed and the app store.

Good while it lasted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this tv right at the start of covid in march 2020… first one was out of the box and had a screen error and was exchanged for a new one. Got charged full price instead of sale. Oh well…. 2.5 years later this tv has played LOTS of vidro gsmes… today it no longer turns on, but only chirps. Im sadbc i paid alot for this tv :(

55 in Samsung Smart t.v. 4k curve
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a 4k curve 55 inch smart samsung t.v. now about 5 years ago. Paid top dollar hoping for a great product long term. After 5 years we developed a volume issue. When moving volume up or down it doesn't change. If volume is up too high and i go to turn it down it just stays stuck at it's remaining position. I replaced remote but no luck. I have called tech support and again no luck. I can't even turn it up or down on the t.v. itself. In order to get it to work I have to power down the t.v. then try it again. It will work about 1 out of 5 times after cycling power or resetting t.v. but when it works it will only let me change it by 5 or 6 volume levels then get stuck again. It seems to be a problem with no fix. We have delt with this now for about 6 months and no longer like our t.v. at all. I have always purchased their products over the past 15 or more years but will not continue anymore. Very frusterating to have a top of the line product not last more then 5 years for top dollar.

Pay a little more and get a better TV

I got it home and all set up and I must say that I was very disappointing in the picture quality. I know its not a top end TV but I expected more. So I did some more research, took it back, and bout the LG ThinQ 55" and I am really happy! Spend just $100 bucks more, you will be very happy you did.

I’m disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m so upset I purchase a Samsung 55 inch on 12/4/2019 and I had a 2year warranty on it the TV went out 04 /13/2022 the screen pop and went black And had no power I never really watched the TV I called and spoke to someone and I was told I can call Samsung or pay for the Geek Squad to come out to look at it . I’m upset because the Tv should’ve went out like that and I have to pay for Geek Squad to come out checked it I’m up set I wouldn’t purchase again. I never had a problem with the Tv and never had a problem with Best Buy but I’m disappointed

Samsung 6900 series

No warranty because it exceeds a year. It would cost 250 + parts if screen needs replacement and 210+ if not. Only had this television for less than two years and I have to pay more than half of sales price today to repair a screen defect that Samsung is fully aware of. I see other have complained about same issue. This manufacturer issue, the tv should not be experiencing this type of issue or any other issue in less than two years. I paid $600 but now its $379. Why would I spend $250+ to repair. This product is trash and Samsung knows it.

55" TV screen turned dark after 1 1/2 years

This particular model is no longer made. We first noticed the left side of the screen going dark just a few days ago and in roughly 3 days 40% of the screen is dark and it looks as though this is permanent. I've tried getting through by phone to Samsung with no luck so far.

Vertical shadows after a couple years

Now I have a dark vertical shadow on 25% of the left side of the screen, and a few other places along the bottom of the screen. Reading about it on the Samsung community site indicates it's a common problem at 12-18 months. There isn't an economical fix.

tv NEVER turns on.

I always have to unplug wait 10 seconds plug in it and try turning it on again. bought this for christmas and it's only march and this has been going on for months. I would never recommend this tv.

Had many problems

I have had to replace the Main board once and its just went out again. i am a big samsung fan and have many samsung products but this is the worst one i have ever bought.

Dark!
