Samsung 8 Series, 55". It's Amazingly come a long way in a short time. See my photos- The most clear picture, equipped with every TV App needed, Netflix, Apple, 'Altice' is regular cable box, Amazon Prime, Sports, News, Hulu, you name it, it's available. Photos show Menu options, size/width, so thin, lightweight, and the simple Remote, I bought two that hang above Fireplace. I'd have gone bigger, except my TV room off kitchen is small. Other in M. Bedroom over fireplace with extender bracket. Highly recommend Geek Squad to install/deliver, whether on a stand or bracket. So efficient, ease of both delivery, setup & haul away. Their knowledge to set up all from WiFi, no longer needed Apple Box, Netflix, Samsung TV. I got a team, their names are Rickson Francis & Marlon. I'm going to request them for anything going forward. Their dedicated to their work, answered all questions, do a follow up, refuse tip, took away all needed & moved older one's, clean up beautifully. I've had Samsung for 25+ years, and amazed how thin, light, and their like a computer, DVD, extra & all channels, and all free. You Tube, Amazon Prime video. I find new things every day. Best Buy has best prices. If you have room to go bigger, than Go for it ~ Good Luck!

I recently purchased a Samsung 55" 8 Series for my church. Because of circumstances beyond our control, the TV has received little usage, but, here are some observations gleaned from the little time I've spent with it. The TV arrived fairly well boxed up. The shipping box wasn't overly heavy, just a bit bulky for a single person to work with. The TV slid out of the box without too much effort. This unit is mounted on a third party stand, so, the included feet were not needed. Now, this TV replaced a Samsung UN39FH5000FXZA. Interestingly enough, the hardware used to mount the old TV to the stand was not, directly, compatible with the new TV. The bolts were too short when used in conjunction with the required spacers. I had to cut the spacers slightly in order for the provided bolts to secure the TV to the mount. With that out of the way, it was time to program the TV. The TV guides you through the setup process. While largely uneventful, I did run into a problem where the TV would not connect to my WIFI router. I had to abort the setup process and start from the beginning. On the second pass, the TV was able to connect to either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency. I opted to use 2.4GHz as I reserve 5GHz strictly for computer equipment. In addition to the initial setup, the TV's OS was updated. That process took a while to complete due to the lack of high speed Internet service available to the church building. Upon completion, I popped a DVD into the attached Samsung player. The results looked quite good. A bonus is that the included remote will control both the TV and player. I will say that the main menu looks much different than the one presented by the old TV. I took me a while to get comfortable with the new layout. I'll have to guide others through the menu once we are able to return to the building. All in all, based on the minimal amount of time that I have been able to use this TV, I will say that it is a decent device. The fact that it was on sale when I purchased it makes it even nicer, and, a good upgrade from the old Samsung TV.

Very pleased with purchase. Great TV for the price. Excellent picture and easy to set up. Bixby voice remote works very well. Uploading apps were quick and easy. Controlling apps with remote is easy. Simple online order process with Best Buy. They delivered an hour early, which was nice.

Excellent TV for price. Set up is a snap, the tutorial takes you through it. The sound quality is good for the price range. Sound is very loud and clear.. Becomes a bit distorted for action movies, but that's what sound bars are for. I don't watch 4K movies and only have 100mbs internet speed, however the picture is impressive. Fine tuning the grey scale, green to red, ratio is very easy. Set up is a snap. Plug in your BLU Ray player oer ROKU and the TV recognizes them and labels them for you per HDMI port. Feet simply twist and click and don't wable. If you do need customer support for any reason, just call and they are there to help. 4.5 stars

Was a little hesitant at first now knowing much about the Samsung Crystal UHD Smart Tizen TV, I was unsure about the Tizen part, but WOW this processor is fantastic and the Crystal Picture is fantastic even for me using the Wireless connection for streaming Holy Cow this thing is fantastic for the money. It's not an OLED but if money is an issue, this is a must if it is in your budget. Truly satisfied with this TV the Narrow boarder bezel around the screen is really present. As far as the remote, goes, there is a little bit of getting use to but it is way nicer that others in this Class, Glare can be an issue if this it to be positioned in a really bright environment, but then again what TV isn't? Would I put this TV up against Sony, or LG in a heartbeat, once again for this price point it is spot on.

TV works great. Sound quality is even better without having to pair it to the samsung sound bar. Picture quality and resolution is outstanding. I have FB portal plugged in and works just fine.

I purchased this TV online and was a little hesitant because I did not evaluate it in the store. However, it has turned out to be a pretty solid television with a good picture resolution. There was a little confusion about how to program it, but I learned pretty quickly. There is a great assortment of APPs, some can be difficult to install without having credentials from certain sites. I found it to be a fun television to play with since I don't have a cable subscription and just use an antenna for as many local channels I can get from the air. The picture is clear and colorful, with easy navigation from the cool, slim, remote control.

I caught this television on sale last Monday and purchased it and was delivered Thursday, i got it mainly for my gaming setup to play my PS5 on and the television makes the game graphics look super crisp and clean and detailed. I have a sound bar and subwoofer to go with the television and the PS5 3D audio headset sounds even more amazing when listening to the games while you play. If your not looking to spend a lot of money for a gaming 4K HDR flat television I recommend this one, you get everything compared to the higher priced flat screen 4K HDR television without breaking your wallet.

I Love this tv, the picture quality is awesome, the colors are Bright and clear. I also enjoy the new style remote, it takes a little getting used to but once you understand how it works it’s great. The Apple TV app is a huge plus so now I don’t need to go spend the $149 for a new box, plus you have access to many more apps

This is an excellent TV for the money. The set up was easy, picture quality is impressive & it works quickly and intuitively. I bought this for my master bedroom, and I’m very happy with it overall. The only minor complaint is that there’s a little red light (under the Samsung logo, at the bottom of screen) that stays on indefinitely when the TV is off. Kind of annoying at bed time, but otherwise no complaints.

Very nice TV. Easy to install Apps that are not pre-loaded such as Spotify and HBO Max. Excellent picture and sound. I know this is not one of the more expensive 3D TV's but the picture does look 3D. The sound seems to have some sort of equalizer so that the commercials don't put you deaf when your program is at a good volume. The closed captions are easy to read and you can position them where you want on the screen. The Best Buy Representative said some repairs can be done remotely. I am very happy with the TV.

My Samsung 55", 8000 series might be the best investment I have made to my entertainment upgrades since the pandemic. I am so happy I did the research and chose the 8 over the 7000 series. The picture quality is awesome & it's ease of Smart functionality is second to none. Make sure you use the "Dynamic" pic option for low light rooms!

Amazing picture,easy to startup,simple to use. Very satisfied with ease of purchase,curbside pickup.

Replaced our 49” with this model and love the updates. Set up was so easy even my husband might even have been able to do it. Just kidding. I attached the legs. Connected the cable, Blu-ray and sound bar and connected the internet. All in 30 minutes.

I am partial to Samsung TVs & this one is no exception. Great picture & sound & the remote is one of the most intuitive units on the market

For the type of TV, you know exactly what you're getting. The TV has held up so far without any issues, so that speaks to the quality expected from Samsung. Wall mounts nicely with its thin design.

Excellent tv at amazing value. Purchased this on sale to replace a much older Samsung flatscreen and I’m very pleased with the picture.

I've had the TV for almost a year and the only thing I regret is not buying it sooner. This tv has everything you need and I highly recommend it. Friends often comment on how nice the picture is.
