The picture quality was crisp and clear one moment then remained grainy. The rear panel where the network cable and optical audio plug in is very flimsy (when snapping the optical cable in it feels as those the panel is going to push right thru the TV. I feel there was also an issue with the network card. Streaming would stutter, Samsung TV plus wouldn't load or continued to buffer. Keep in mind this was connected directly to panoramic wifi modem with gigabit service, our old TV had no streaming issues (we replaced it because of controller board color issues after 4 years). Finally the TV would constantly disconnect hdmi devices and no longer recognize them. Upon initial setup the TV discovered the xbox one, Nintendo Switch and our sound system. Within minutes the sound would cut back to TV speakers and sound system was unrecognized (arc device). Then the Nintendo switch would come up unknown. TV definitely had issues and is going back today.

I am sorry to see that you are experiencing issues with your TU8000 TV.
Here are some trouble-shooting tips that may help solve the ARC connection issue:
1. Make sure to use a good quality, high-speed HDMI cable.
2. First, turn off and disconnect all HDMI devices. Then connect one side of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (ARC) on your Soundbar and the other side of the cable to the TV’s HDMI IN (ARC) port. Note that both sides of the cable have to be connected to the port labeled “ARC”.
3. Power on the TV first, then the Soundbar.
4. If still no sound, check that both devices have HDMI-CEC enabled. On the TV, go to Settings > General >External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI CEC). You will have to check for similar settings on the Soundbar.
5. Finally, you may need to check if your Soundbar supports the audio file format sent by the TV. To improve compatibility, you can go to TV Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Format and set it to “PCM”.
