    Difficult to set up, the english subtitles and audio voice are set ON when they should be NO and you have to turn them on. Hard to get MAX from the app store and You Tube won't stay in the cue of streaming content to choose from. Overall made the TV way to complicated. On the + side - sold at a very good price

    Fair price however , sound audio is inconsistent and majority of the time seems low. Sometimes control to tv function lacks. For it being a 2024 tv it does not have a voice / speak feature so when looking up something for example on YouTube it takes forever. For the price however seems fair.

      I apologize for the inconvenience you have had with the inconsistent sound volume. Please try adjusting the following Settings to improve your experience.

      The Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On.

      You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test.

      You are correct, the DU6900 does not have voice assistants built in. However, they do work with Alexa. You can connect them to your existing Alexa device to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.

      Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

    Be wary of Best Buy Total Membership

    Bought TV in Nov 2024. Was doing a remodel in the living room. Opened the box for first time this past Monday (3/24) and mounted the tv. Turned on, lasted 15 seconds and went black. Contacted Best Buy through chat. Said I need to go through manufacturer even though I was a Best Buy Total member (which was sold on the basis that Best Buy would handle any repairs/replacements if Total Member). So here I am, without a TV and a $300 membership that doesn’t seem to be what they sell you on. Samsung picked up the TV and will be repairing it. Unknown time frame for that. First time Best Buy has failed totally.

    I recently purchased a Samsung TV from Best Buy during the Thanksgiving sale. Not long after, the screen went completely blank. When I reached out to Best Buy for help, I was told they couldn’t do anything and that I had to contact Samsung directly for warranty service. This experience left me wondering—what's the point of buying from Best Buy if they won’t stand behind the products they sell? I expected at least some level of support or guidance, but instead, I was brushed off. Samsung T.V’s last for very long and it’s shocking. I’ve since heard from others that Best Buy is one of the worst places to purchase electronics, and sadly, I now understand why. Definitely a very disappointing experience, and I’ll keep it in mind for future purchases.

    Not sure if the issue is with the tv but always have trouble with amazon video app have to unplug tv and replug in for it to work

      If apps are not working correctly, we recommend first checking for firmware updates on your TV. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If you do have the latest firmware, then you can next try a cold boot. There are two ways to cold boot your TV:
      1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
      2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.

    Always have had good luck with Samsung TVs till now. This one hasn't even lasted a year and now the right and left side have large blackout sections in the screen.
