    We got this tv to replace the TU7000 55” which was about 3-4 years old. This TV is so much better and for its price point under 400 bucks it was a good choice. My wife primarily watches this TV and she isn’t into bells and whistles too much so it works for the room it’s in. The thing I like the most is the menu system is so much more user friendly than the older Samsungs. All the apps and continuing watching points are right there. The picture is decent for a cheaper tv. If you’re looking for a low price point tv with not too many options it’s a good choice. The one thing I didn’t like is the legs are very close together and a mid/small sized soundbar does not fit in between them.

    My Samsung UN55DU7200FXZA has severe macro blocking / screen Tear on SOME (and only some) HDR Movies. For this reason I stay in Movie maker mode. Brightness is also a problem at ~295 cd/m2 and this was made for viewing head on. Looking at RTINGS . com after my problems started upon plugging it in I start to understand, as I did no research B4 purchase for a bedroom. A different purchaser says his:"In ‘Movie’ mode it’s flicker-free above a setting of 19, but in FILMMAKER mode it always flickers." It is a budget TV and for the most part you should not have a problem. If your HDR Movies go crazy try the different modes as it does help. Had I researched a low price bedroom TV I might have gone with a Hisense A7N. I've never experienced this problem before and hope you don't either but there was one Movie I simply couldn't watch. No big deal as I cut the cord in 2014 and use Roku Ultra's w/ audio passthrough on my other TV's. (I use the 4k stick with this one; hoped it would help but nope). For the $300+ price point there are better options. To sum up, you have 3 HDMI 2.0 w/ an eARC, no local dimming, low brightness at HDR peak BUT the color tracking is actually decent. It's bare bones but who needs the top of the line OLED for the bedroom anyway.
