The curved screen is viewable from sides without distortion. The only thing is, you should measure your TV stand because footprint is larger than the older models.

Same TV in flat screen may be just as good. More glare from windows when at a slight angle than I had hoped for with curved. Viewed straight on by far the best.

Amazing Picture and Smart Features as well

I placed it in my living room and now I see my kids again. They love this tv and can watch our Netflix account on it. The picture is amazing with sharp details due to the UHD.

Disappointing but a good product

On this model, the audio does not work as well as on the previous model. I also find the user interface less user-friendly. It also has an external HDMI box with multiple ports but it is not small and in visible site. Horrible for wall mounted tv's but it seems to help the 4K picture. The TV also has wires that come out the bottom of the tv and not the back when the back panel is on. The bezel is slightly wider at the bottom of the unit so it covers mores screen more than the previous model. I feel like this new model is a step back.They did improve the remote control in this model
