I read a lot of reviews before settling on this one. I watched the price for months. I love the tv, too bad my U-Verse doesn't have any 4K content to go with it. I guess one day they will. The only thing I didn't realize is that it has feet instead of a center support so it was too wide for my tv stand. I had it sitting on the floor on books for a week under my new tv stand was delivered. I love Samsung televisions.

This is a very cool tv with its curved screen feature and great picture quality.

For someone like myself who is not electronically savvy, I must say this tv is the best. Easy to use remote and great pic/sound.

This one is a winner. Excellent picture quality and extremely easy to setup. This thing is also light as a feather.

Dont delay in grabbing this outgoing 2017 model before it is gone. The 4k picture is really good in our well lit bedroom and we love the antiglare on the curved screen. The colors are amazing on both native 4k uhd blurays as well as upscaled 1080p blurays. DirectTv movies and tv shows are also upscaled nicely. If you are very picky about the deepest blacks, then get the qled series and a full array rather than an edge lit unit. But for the money, this is a great 4k tv!

Thought the curved screen on this 55" TV would take some getting used to, but don't even notice it anymore. The picture is good but not as crisp and full of detail as I'd expected. It could be I've not set the advanced settings as they should be. Played around with them several times. Still trying to figure out where to purchase videos that will give me the full 4k effect. I also have a 65" Samsung and it's a great picture. Have to say the picture on it offers a bit more clarity and detail than the 55". I'd of thought it would be the other way around. First I'd seen the small HDMI box Samsung is using versus plugging your HDMI cord directly into the back of the TV. It's an interesting concept. Easy set-up. Overall, yes, a good TV. I'd suggest waiting until it's on sale prior to purchasing it.

I was looking to update a previous TV we had in the living room above the fire place and could be seen from the kitchen. I wanted to purchase the latest tech and the biggest screen but my budget was not in the 2 or 4 thousand range. I checked for QLED but most Samsung were above 2 grand. This 4k High dynamic range 8 series was 1 step below and though there is a difference, it is half the price. Easy NAvigation, fast connection, diffrent levels of black, Best purchase of 2017.

It has good picture quality and smart features and it offers a versatile and capable package at a good price point.

Without any douth, this TV is just #1. It has excellent Picture, reasonably average speakers, excellent smart Tizen software; it has favorite streaming apps pre-installed by default, The only negative caveat of this TV is the sound quality should be little better tuned, missing some of the budget QLED tv software features. And, the software feels the little glitchy and sometimes slow response. But overall, everything about the TV is top notch.

So many options for viewing clarity, sound, lightness. Remote literally works for everything, Roku, apps, blue ray, sound system, antenna. Crystal clear picture, movement is seemless. No pixelation even in fast motion sports. App system is amazing and has great options. Like the curved sides, but really not necessary. Great price on sale under $1000! Definitely recommend!

I debated whether to go with the curve screen or regular flat screen . I saw no difference in the picture or noticed anything bad about the curved picture . In fact I liked the look of the curved TV better. So that is what i purchased and I'm thrilled with the picture it produces. My only thought now is - should I have gotten the 65 instead of the 55 .

I have this TV mountented in my room and looks amazing. Picture quality is great blacks are deep and dark and colors are amazing. initially sound was a bit dull but with the amplify setting it is really loud and don't see a need for a sound bar unless u want something with speakers behind you as far as loudness and clarity goes this is great, I ended up switching back to normal setting for ease and more control during quiet hours.

I purchased this TV after returning one I bought at Walmart. It had a very dull, dark, and awful picture. The sales person at Best Buy was so knowledgeable and helped me decide which TV was best for me. The picture on this television is AWESOME! It has a beautiful clear and colorful picture, which has incredible detail. It is almost frameless, has a cool remote, and is user friendly. Best purchase I've made in a long time. Thank you Best Buy!
