This TV is phenomenal for the price. I bought this TV because I just bought the new Xbox One X and wanted to get the most out of it. This was the cheapest 55" 4k UHD TV that our bestbuy had. I am so pleased with the product. I watched my first 4k UHD movie and the High Dynamic Range (HDR) was noticible right away. 5.0/5.0 Easy to use Easy to set up *I would recommend a sure protector and HDMI cables that can handle UHD output to get the most out of your TV*

This tv is the best in business class investment in TV. This tv is just rename of the previous generation flagship tv from Samsung called "SUHD 8000 series" Rename to UHD Premium 8000 series. This tv is best in class Picture Quality, viewing angle, HDR, true 4K, true black and etc... The sound quality is good but not best in class. A very pleasure balance bass and accurate balance sound w/ dolby & dts signature sound. Talking about performance is decent. Samsung mention it comes with quad core but Tizen OS performance is pretty well optimize. Not fast, smooth and greatly design but overall it's great. Comes with pre-loaded regular usage apps like Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Google Play Movies & etc... If anyone is getting this TV for gaming then I totally recommended to purchase this best in class tv.

Bought this TV through BB online & was delivered from local store. I felt BB was too expensive to pay them to unbox & do a basic set-up, so I hired my IT guy from work. Set-up was simple. I was unable to afford a soundbar at this time, so I will refer to the speaker system that came built into the TV. Starting from the first day, I would randomly hear scratching noises seemingly from the TV speakers over a period of a couple of weeks. Some days it would happen a few times & other days nothing. It would only happen when I was watching regular TV or programs I had recorded. It did not happen when using the new Samsung Blu-Ray player I had also just bought. Long story short, after 5 calls with Samsung (they were very responsive) and, upon their recommendation, changing out the new HDMI cord with another new HDMI cord (proving unnecessary), their resulting recommendation was that it was a cable box problem (in my case, Frontier-old Verizon). The Frontier repair guy came out, sat down with my Frontier remote, changed some of the audio settings which I'd had from the old TV, and everything seems to have been resolved. I have not heard the scratching noise since -- it has been 5 days now. As the repair guy said, the speakers in new TVs are so small they affect the sound. I'd read many reviews with regard to complaints about sound issues with these new TVs but now that I am experiencing it first-hand, I understand what they're saying. It seems all these manufacturers have once again found a way to coerce customers into buying just one more piece of equipment to complete the full experience. Having said that, I will now succumb to purchasing a soundbar. The picture is fabulous on this model...just like you're there in person.

Best 4K TV HDR television I have purchased. Love it!! Makes a great holiday special buy for anyone's list or desires. Great picture. Great price for the quality. I would recommend this product to anyone. If you are thinking about purchasing a Samsung 6000 series-- THINK AGAIN!!!

Great Picture and easy set-up buy this model. I was shocked at the great price for the TV. The picture is so clear you feel you are on the field with you favorite team or in the Sean with your favorite actor. Don't wait, if you are looking for a new TV buy this one. Great price and Great quality.

Decided on a whim to upgrade my old 55" Samsung to something with 4K HD. Discussed this TV with the Best Buy salesman and decided to spend more than I had originally thought. Read some reviews on the fly, and am not disappointed that I went with this. Glares are less noticeable, colors are better. I love the curved aspect when viewing from an angle. Sadly, cable has not yet caught up to this resolution, however video games and movies look phenomenal. Great upgrade, even my wife is happy!

This is a 55" TV and was put on a wall bracket. It is curved and from about 8 feet give or take it is perfection. Picture is absolutely beautiful. Now the remote is super duper in that it looks simple but it has a microphone - you will love that feature and the TV understands you for example if you say Netflix or other things. It's the way of the future. Also it has a feature I was not aware of in that it has a 'unified connector'. By this I mean you connect this special cable that's included to the TV, you run that cable to a nearby table or even put it on the floor. The opposite end of the cable has HDMI and power connectors. You might think at first this is actually a bother, then you'll think 'well it is all right', then you'll think it's genius. I do recommend this super Smart TV.

The UHD 4K TV is the best one yet from Samsung, the HDR is absolutely beautiful and I love it, a good UHD for the one that like quality pictures, very easy to use and the remote is clutter free with minimum buttons, also astonishing for the hardcore gamer.

Found this 8 series Samsung via open-box satisfactory rating. Took the risk for only $740.00. No visible flaws noticed yet. Was easy to wall mount. 4K picture is amazing! Regular cable HD programming is OK but there are probably better TV's out there for this. Smart tv works amazing! The tv itself is astheticly pleasing in my living room. So far no problems and very pleased with the purchase. Only time will tell

Great color, bright, crisp, Design is clean and I do like the curve design which I wasn't to sure about but it does add depth into the color and picture.

Our TV died after lightning hit the ground near our house. We have always been very happy with the Samsung TV's and this one is no different. The picture is great no matter where in the room you set. The Smart TV features are spoiling us with how simple and convenient they are. I highly recommend this TV.

I spent a few weeks searching for a new TV, researching the features, prices and availability. This TV gave me everything I was looking for and more. The price was great and it was easy to set up. I do not have cable TV or Internet set up at my house yet and was surprised at all the items that were available for viewing. I signed up for Netflix and am able to watch movies and TV shows for a low monthly cost. Also signed up for MSNBC and was able to view it on the TV. I am almost at the point of forgetting about signing up for cable or internet services. Love this TV

Needed to replace my 58" Samsung plasma, Series 860 T.V.. That T.V. at the time was considered one of best on the market and expensive. Although down-sizing to 55", the curved screen made all the difference as far as looks and fitting the room size. Not wanting to make the huge investment as previous, opted for UBD-M8500 at half the price.. This 4K Ultra HDR exceeded my expectations in picture quality. Since I use a Bose V35 Home System for audio, haven't really checked out the T.V. audio. The only negative is the remote which is very small, unlighted and with symbols. Takes a little time getting use too. This 4K Ultra has all the bells and whistles that the average person needs.

So I got this TV on sale at $1099 Picture is amazing as usual with samsung. One thing I absolutely hate in the one connect box you need for HDMI inputs. The box is touchy and you have to make sure it's plugged in tight. I just think that the inputs should be in the TV and the creation of another price of equipment with the potential to fail is not necessary. HDR works great as I do a lot of gaming on it to.

Great tv. Great picture quality. The picture looks crisp when I connect my ps4 pro to it...thanks to the new HDR extreme. The UI is easy to use and you’d love it. The only disappointing thing is the viewing angle is not so great.

Wow ! I’m obsessed with this Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV . Very simple to use and amazing quality picture, I no longer use my Roku . This TV had so many apps it’s awesome ! Sleek amazing beautiful look as well ! Thank you Samsung !

The colors on our new Samsung 8500 curved screen are just fantastic. It is especially good for watching our favorite sport NHL Hockey. There is no problem with the fast movements on the ice. The picture stays clear and sharp even when you are sitting close to the TV. The TV was very easy to set up and connect to my cable service using the 1 cable technology along with the power cord are the only connections you need to make. I would recommend this TV to anyone especially at the price point we paid $899.99
