I had planned on getting a lower priced TV thinking all HD was the same but after looking st my options I decided to spend the extra $100 to get the curved screen 8000 series instead of a lower priced 6000 series. Great Picture and easy set-up buy this model. I was shocked at the great price for the TV. The picture is so clear you feel you are on the field with you favorite team or in the Sean with your favorite actor. Don't wait, if you are looking for a new TV buy this one. Great price and Great quality.

This TV is fantastic! I picture quality is amazing, colors are bright and beautiful. I wasn't sure about the benefit of a curved screen, but my girlfriend immediately noticed the lack of glare no matter where she sat. Also, the setup and the built-in menu system is easy and works well.

This is a 55" TV and was put on a wall bracket. It is curved and from about 8 feet give or take it is perfection. Picture is absolutely beautiful. Now the remote is super duper in that it looks simple but it has a microphone - you will love that feature and the TV understands you for example if you say Netflix or other things. It's the way of the future. Also it has a feature I was not aware of in that it has a 'unified connector'. By this I mean you connect this special cable that's included to the TV, you run that cable to a nearby table or even put it on the floor. The opposite end of the cable has HDMI and power connectors. You might think at first this is actually a bother, then you'll think 'well it is all right', then you'll think it's genius. I do recommend this super Smart TV.

Have an 8 series tv that we bought in 09 and people are always commenting on the picture. It is a 46 in. so we moved it upstairs to tv room and put this in the family room with the 6500 curved sound bar. Even better than our other tv. I will buy only Samsung, can't get a better picture.

im not sure if was my internet or what but it took a long time before i could get connected to watch youtube and netflix...was possibly my xfinity...the geek squad told me there were known issues with samsung TVs and comcast but it seems to now be resolved....great picture quality and the 4K videos on youtube are amazing

I recently purchased this TV around Black Friday for an incredible deal of $999.99. This model replaced my 5 year old Samsung 3D LED TV, the difference is night and day! The color and picture are incredible, gaming is seamless with no tears even at 4K! I highly recommend this TV

Replaced a 4 year old Visio because the screen had started getting dark spots that kept growing. The Samsung has a great picture and it’s very user friendly. Love the curved screen. Had the Geek Squad install and it was more than worth the money in terms of time and cleanup

This TV is simply amazing. From watching 4K movies on Netflix to playing video games on my Xbox one X it blows you away. Setup is easy and has a great sleek look that fits into any room setup. Crisp image, great color saturation, and deep blacks! I’m in love with this tv.

I have only bought Sony TVs for the past 40 years and all of them seem to last forever. However, Sony has gotten out of my price range. I was directed to Samsung. My son recommended a curved model for the room and while I hoped to buy a 65 inch I could not pass up the deal Best Buy gave me on the 55 inch open box. The color is crisp, the sound is good and while the remote is clumsy, this TV is definitely worth the price. Sporting events are so lifelike its incredible. It's my first flat screen Ultra HDTV and I couldn't be happier. I did buy the extended warranty because it was an open box but have had no problems yet.

Purchased for larger screen and am not disappointed. Picture is beautiful and the sound is great. The curved screen is viewable from sides without distortion. The only thing is, you should measure your TV stand because footprint is larger than the older models.

I researched several tv's before deciding on this Samsung 55 inch curved tv. I'm glad I made the choice to buy this tv. You can view from any angle with no issues. The picture is absolutely amazing!

This tv is the best in business class investment in TV. This tv is just rename of the previous generation flagship tv from Samsung called "SUHD 8000 series" Rename to UHD Premium 8000 series. This tv is best in class Picture Quality, viewing angle, HDR, true 4K, true black and etc... The sound quality is good but not best in class. A very pleasure balance bass and accurate balance sound w/ dolby & dts signature sound. Talking about performance is decent. Samsung mention it comes with quad core but Tizen OS performance is pretty well optimize. Not fast, smooth and greatly design but overall it's great. Comes with pre-loaded regular usage apps like Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Google Play Movies & etc... If anyone is getting this TV for gaming then I totally recommended to purchase this best in class tv.

The picture is very solid and the curved screen significantly improves the viewing area. I have limited places to place the TV and the curved screen works well from a corner in the room. The applications and flexibility to add plenty of new streaming apps is a great feature. I do wish I could add more cord-cutting apps such as Google TV but what can you do. The remote is powerful but not too intuitive and could be a pain in the neck for less tech savvy folks. Samsung offers a single cord configuration with this TV that goes to a Port emulator box. It really cleans up cables and allows you to buy shorter expensive cables like HDMI cables. Overall I'm very happy with the buy.

Very happy with this TV after spending so much time into research,picture quality is not perfect but for the price really really great. Samsung’s Tizen is really easy to use and has all the important apps you need. The Design is gorgeous.

This TV is phenomenal for the price. I bought this TV because I just bought the new Xbox One X and wanted to get the most out of it. This was the cheapest 55" 4k UHD TV that our bestbuy had. I am so pleased with the product. I watched my first 4k UHD movie and the High Dynamic Range (HDR) was noticible right away. 5.0/5.0 Easy to use Easy to set up *I would recommend a sure protector and HDMI cables that can handle UHD output to get the most out of your TV*

The picture quality on this ser is great. I lnow the OLED has better colors and contrast and QLED is probably better, but for me these differences are negligible. This TV works great with my BOSE home theater. The smart TV aspect is also great, with apps loading fast, the only apps I use are YouTube, Netflix and Google play movies. 4k streaming looks great and playing 4k blu rays on my xbox one s is fantastic. I calibrated this TV and it looks amazing. The screen does great with reflections and I feel like the curve helps with that. The picture does wash out at an angle, but this is not a problem in my entertainment room, I only noticed this because I read it online and I had to try it out. Input lag for fps on my xbox one s is great.

So I got this TV on sale at $1099 Picture is amazing as usual with samsung. One thing I absolutely hate in the one connect box you need for HDMI inputs. The box is touchy and you have to make sure it's plugged in tight. I just think that the inputs should be in the TV and the creation of another price of equipment with the potential to fail is not necessary. HDR works great as I do a lot of gaming on it to.
