I was looking for a new TV with better sharpness and clarity than my older plasma, and this one certainly fits the bill. I thought as long as I was going to buy a new TV, I'd get bigger (50" to 55") and go for the curve. Very happy with it, and in this case decided to also get the install package (a review I had read said that TV's over 50" were installed for free, but that's not true. they are delivered for free but there is an install charge). Anyhow, it's an all around improvement in apps offered, ability to move amongst TV, DVD, applications, etc very seamlessly too. Sound is through my cheap Samsung entertainment system (Blue Ray / DVD / radio / etc) but the TV isn't part of a theater or anything, we just enjoy hearing sound coming from different channels). Two thumbs up!

Great picture. Only problem is terrible instructions. Drawings to set up tv, is worthless and you must go online or on the tv for sound, picture, etc. Once everything is set up it is easy to use.

This TV is awesome, especially if you can catch it on sale. Picture is fantastic and the curved screen can become quite immersive if you sit in the right spot. Viewing from seats not directly in front of the TV is also much better. not the best to hang on a wall as the curve of the screen makes it stick out quite a bit. Satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this set to anyone looking for a really nice TV that doesn't need the QLED price tags.

Absolutely loving this TV. The curve is subtle and allows viewing from a wide angle without losing picture quality. For gaming it looks perfect with the 4K output of the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Read reviews vs. OLED and other higher end units but found the viewing angle and black depth quite good on this TV. If 4 HTML inputs (and only HTML) are ok with you, then it's a solid choice.

I liked the curved 4 k Samsung tv vey well. Nices pictures.

We have been planning to purchase a bigger/brighter TV. We enjoy the viewing experience on this TV, 55 inches is perfect. The curve is interesting, but I think it adds to the image quality.

This is the fourth Samsung - 55" Class - LED Curved - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV that I buy home. Very pleased with the picture and a decent sound. User-friendly and stylish design.

Excellent picture quality, love the sleek design, features are easily assessable. I do wish the TV had a feature to keep commercials at the same sound level as the regular programming.

I bought two of these about a year apart. Both are awesome look great. Great looking image and the tv itself looks awesome. You don't get distracted by the curve which is awesome.

The set up was very easy. The remote although very different than what we are used to was not hard to figure out. Great picture.

Ive always been a Sharp guy, but something always intrigued me with the Samsung Curved TV's. I thought it was all hype but wow am I glad I decided to take the leap. Color, Picture, Contrast, Clarity all by far the best Ive set my eyes and ears upon. Its so good that I bought another one for my spare room. Highly recommend it to anyone.

This is my second curved Samsung LED TV; my first one was a Samsung 65" curved 3D, and I loved it! This Samsung 55" curved LED smart TV is yet another very good TV from Samsung. The look of it is very futuristic, the sound is fine, picture quality is great....Again, Samsung really knows how to make TVs. No wonder it is what Sony used to be 40 years ago.

When playing video games samsung does not explain how to activate the full potential of the tv go to externals and u can activate HDR per hdmi and activate game mode also

Ok first let me just say that I’m not a tech savvy person or geek so my review will not have all the terminology that goes with a typical review about an item like range, pixels etc. Now I set up the tv with my WiFi cable box etc and put it together. That wasn’t an issue. My issue is with the cheap power cord placement and lack of apps on the tv. I like the fact that the power cord is detachable but it is too short and it comes out easily. So for me it seems like and after thought. I think that there should be more cable apps i.e a&e installed on the tv in the apps page. Now I have to try and find out how can add more of these type of apps on my tv. So for these 2 reasons I’m giving this tv 4 out of 5 stars and I wouldn’t recommend it because of the power cord. That seems outrageous when you have a tv this expensive.

We love our new television, the picture is awesome and out of this world. We had to adjust the way we watch television due to the fact that the picture is so live like.

The picture resolution and color is great. Geek squad in home advisor and installation team provided excellent service. Extremely satisfied with the whole experience.

The wife talked me into a curved tv... so happy I listened to her for once!! The clarity on this tv is phenomenal! Going to be getting one for the living room soon!

Amazing TV. Pretty much the best you can buy if you don’t want to break the bank on OLED. Almost the same quality as OLED, honestly i could not tell the difference.
