The built in speakers do really well and the 4k resolution on 4k Blu rays are stunning. My only complaint is that I do not have a home theatre system, so I have to constantly tweet the sounds settings to make sure the sfx don't overpower the audio. Also, the brightness gets really bright during bright parts and super dark during dark. You have to tweak this sometimes to get the right brightness during filns
