Regardless of all the good things people say, Samsung is not without its issues. My tv is only 3 months old and it broke. The power supply was defective and yet Best Buy sold it to me. I went to the store and because I didn't have gave geek squad protection they wanted me to take my 55 inch tv off the wall (because it's mounted) and then they would send it out to get fixed after which I would have to come and pick it up. I ended up going through Samsung directly and they sent a tech out 3 weeks after my request and he fixed it in just a 10 minutes. I can't say I wasn't happy it was fixed easily but the issue remains that I was sold a defective television and Best Buy would do NOTHING to remedy the issue. Suffice to say, I will never be purchasing products from Best Buy anymore and I will think twice about buying a Samsung product.

If you can spend 200 or 300 more go for a better one, this is a good tv don't get me wrong but for more money you get better picture quality, if you just care to watch the news and a couple of games or movies you'll be fine with this one, if you want to impress your friend don't do this one. Trust me.

Great TV. Finally bought a second HD tv for the bedroom and it is great!!

Consumer reports recommended and the price was great. Best value for 55".

So far it is fine. The extra pixels do not seem to enhance the visual.
