This is a replacement for another Samsung but picture quality is jumpy on certain stations. Sound quality is average. Not on a 4k programming provider so can't comment on that feature. For the price it is adequate.

If you're looking for 4k picture, but not quality I suppose this is for you. I would spend the extra money for better overall picture and quality.

Awful remote

Only 5 buttons and some scrolls. I would return this tv except it was a Geeksquad replacement. The apps are limited and in the 2 days I have had it, it has been reset twice (once by Samsung tech support). It locks up and the useless remote makes everything harder and take longer to do the multiple steps (like inputting a channel change).

Many others online have the same issues- and apparently Samsung denies any problems. Sound & pic issues that I cannot get rid of!

not bad for the price... but could be better

But there is still room for improvement. However, since it was a rushed purchase, this is a good choice for the sale price of $499.

Even in movie mode, it tends to make the movies look like a 70s TV show quality.

Great tv picture, horrible stand

Not even two years out and purple spot appears??

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it in 7/2017 and It was absolutely fine until about Feb 2019 where a slight purple spot appeared and now it has spread and darkened and is completely noticeable. Because its outside its manufacture warranty, there's nothing anyone can do about it and the fix is almost as much as a new TV. Won't be purchasing another Samsung without a 5 year warranty minimum. I purchased a Phillips in 2009 that is still completely fine and has no issues. Shame I can't say the same about this Samsung.

Not much better than 1080 TV

The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out.

Needs room to stand on
