    exchanged a hisense for this bought the extended warranty. changing inputs takes a degree in computer science! I forgot I had the extended warranty, but the screen got a red dot. Guess its a burnt pixel. Best buy sent me offer to renew exwar. I called geek sqauad about the red dot they said bring it in and they would replace it! Then the bad part Load up the tv, drive thirty miles.Lets repair it!

    I first connected the Samsung 2160 Smart TV to my Fios HDMI and I was immediately disappointed with the up-scaling of the 1080 signal.. What you see on the store displays is 4K inputs so you'll have to have one at home for 4K. Then I connected my computer HDMI display to the HDMI 2 on the TV when I switched to the HDMI 2 it immediately changed my computer resolution and rearranged my desktop somehow bypassing Windows 7 administrator function. That was all I had to see. I returned it to Best Buy for a full refund. Thanks, Best Buy

    I bought this tv on line the Wednesday before thanksgiving,and picked up in the store i love the Samsung brand and all was very good until i connect to my dish latino cable hd ,the imagen was I little foggy ,can't read the words and i called to costumer service they toll me than can change it for another one i went yo the store the tv was really bad but they don't change it fot another one they refound the money to my visa but the money was available for the next Tuesday and lost all the black Friday prices ... very disappointed

    We purchased from Best Buy. The TV functions as expected, however after 2.5 years had dead pixels. Not what you would expect from Samsung quality TV.

    Terrible veiwing angle-Returned to Best Buy

    The viewing angle on this TV is terrible. I didn't expect it compare to the plasma I was replacing...........but the picture rapidly degraded at any angle. The only option was to sit directly in front of the TV. After researching further, I learned that this model does not have IPS technology which increases viewing angle clarity. I returned this TV and purchased an LG from Best Buy.............Perfect!

    Screen dims after dark.

    My previous TV was a 10 year old plasma. In comparison, I am disappointed with the new technology. Screen darkens to the point of reduced viewing enjoyment.

      Thank you for your review of this Samsung TV. It sounds like this might be due to the ECO Sensor or Motion Lighting features.

      ECO Sensor automatically adjusts the brightness level of the TV according to ambient light level, reducing power consumption. If the ECO Sensor has adjusted the screen’s brightness level, you can select Min. Backlight to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness.

      Motion Lighting adjusts brightness in response to on-screen movements to reduce power consumption.

    We purchased the TV in June 2017 and the picture just went out 12/2020. I tried contacting Samsung and they are blaming the HDMI cable or other external devices, but it is the TV. So much for watching holiday movies and all that. I guess I'll stick with the brand names known for making TVs this time. This is the most 2020 thing of all time!

    i am very disappointed with this tv. it freezes a lot and i have to restart it by unplugging it. sometimes it just shuts off.

    When I purchased this on 3/2017 it was great up until 5/2018 when it started flickering and of course it’s out of warranty so now I have 2 options buy a new one or pay top $ to have it repair. It’s a shame my smart Samsung I purchased back in 2010 is still going strong. Best Buy is their anything you can do for me?

    Love the TV. I have had it for seven years with no problems. Do have to admit that the past few weeks we have had issues with the HDMI ports. The picture still looks great. I am actually online this evening looking to buy a replacement for this TV. Definitely looking at a newer Samsung model.

    Just bought this TV on May 31st... Saw the sale on Best Buy's website and knew that I had to have! I'd bought an LG 4K 49 inch webOS 3 TV the week before and I took it back to get this one. The picture contrast of an LG doesn't compare to that of a Samsung in my opinion. I was disappointed so I took it back. On the other hand, Samsung LED/LCD TVs produce a Plasma like experience with the dark blacks and rich brilliant colors right out of the box! It also has an ambient light sensor that determines how bright the screen needs to be based on the intensity of the light in the room! This TV is the next best thing to an OLED TV which are WAY too expensive.. This Samsung also produces GREAT sound from the internal speaker system.. A sound bar isn't really necessary. The OS is fast, easy to use and smooth! The remote is in likeness of an Apple TV Remote with a simple but sufficient layout. I HIGHLY recommend .. A lot of bang for your buck!

    The onscreen keyboard never worked and it’s not easy to download apps that aren’t listed on the tv already. It’s been a little over 4 years and now I need to replace because the color is terrible. A lot of blue tint dominates the picture
