Samsung TV

Purple Shadow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 2 yes the picture screen had a purple patch appear o let center of the screen. A purple shadow. Extremely disappointed and of course warranty ran outer a year. Always buy tended warranty.

The tv wasn’t on display when I bought it, but I took a leap of faith based on past experiences with Samsung products. Once I got it home, I wasn’t pleased with the picture quality. The image was sharp, but the blacks, and overall brightness of the tv weren’t up to my level of satisfaction. I ended up exchanging the tv for something else offered from a different brand.

My Sam's special Hitachi is going on 7 yrs old not 1 issue. This TV now will not recognize my hdmi inputs. It turns on, and shows all inputs being used but nothing works. BB was useless and Samsung support even more. I have some Rubiks 22 step process to get it working again only to have it revert back in less than 24 hrs. The 20 min reboot process is insane. I would of hoped it was covered under warranty but good luck with that. If u have a wks vacation to sit on the phone with reps trouble shooting u might get it working again.

Great TV for a Great Price

10 months and already problems

It seems like it wants to boot up and the Samsung logo appears in the screen then fakes off. Hard to explain. Now I don’t know where or who to call. It should have 1 year warranty but just the trouble of unmounting it from the wall. I give it 1 star.

Excellent Value for Black Friday

Not only was setup simple and easy the device detection worked flawlessly. One thing about this model is that the specs shown in the Best Buy site show that HDR (High Dynamic Range) is not supported. Actually this model does support HDR. Even my Roku detected the HDR. The other reason I know this model has DVR is that it's stated on the box and also in the TV settings. Just to verify the model I am talking about, it's the UN55MU6290FXZA.

16 months and picture went dull

I switched dvr's and no difference. The settings are in their original places. I'm now watching the 2K tv in the livving room. I bought this tv 16 months ago. The forums are correct, Samsung TV's are cheaply made these days.

Do not buy this tv

On screen movement was so unnatural at times I felt I might have a seizure watching it (I am not eplileptic). Made me feel sick to my stomach. The screen looks whitewashed and is not fixable with any setting change.

55" TV

Very disappointed, it is sad because we really love Samsung products, just not this one!!!
