Ok for the money.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is very good for the price. Best Buy support is non-existent unless you pay. TV stand is flimsy. I would not recommend.

Decent for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last TV was Samsung brand. My first was the 3D TV (great screen quality) purchased back in 2014 and wouldn’t turn on last week so I decided it was time for an upgrade. So I bought this tv and thought it would be an upgrade. I like watching action shows/movies. So if you like high action shows like 007 or sports, this is not the best one for that. It’s kind of blurry when I see Labron James running across the court. I gave this tv 3 stars.

Can’t control volume of the external speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No 3.5mm out. No bluetooth volume control No HDMI ARC volume control. No control of your receiver volume level as HDMI won’t recognize it. Can’t type in the code for your receiver. In the result, you can’t control volume with only one remote. Something I had 10 years back.

Problems to connect to the internet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No complaints about image quality. Also, once connection with the internet is established, it is quite stable. However, connecting in the first place has been challenging. In the beginning the TV would connect to my wireless network quickly. However, 3 months after having purchased it I consider myself lucky when I can get it done in less than 5 minutes. Note that other devices are also connected to the same network with no problem, so the issue is really in the TV. Sure, eventually the TV works fine. But when you buy $500+ on a piece of electronics, this type of inconvenient is just unacceptable.

This is a terrible TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you spent the past six decades hiding on some South Pacific Island, waiting out the end of WW2, then this technology will likely dazzle you. But if you have ever owned a TV before, even an old two ton tube jobber, then this TV will leave you wanting. The remote is far from intuitive. The sound likes the play an annoying thumping sound when you switch between input sources. And the thing sporadically gets bored with what it is broadcasting, and just dumps a stream. I trusted Best Buy and Samsung enough that I recycled the box soon after setting it up. Next to buying it, this was my biggest mistake.

Backlit lights died after 3 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV died after exactly 3 years. Backlit lights are gone. TV is completely dark after being powered on. When contacted technician they say it will cost almost $420 to repair (including parts and service charge, shipping etc). I had to throw it off and buy LG which seems to have better reputation in terms of longitivity.

Broke itself in less than half a year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I was buying a quality product to replace my 8 year old LG HDTV. This TV started turning itself on and off over and over today and has become completely useless. No troubleshooting worked and many other people with Samsung 4k TVs have the same issue. A technician is on the way since it's still under warranty, but this shouldn't be happening when I pay more for Samsung. I guess there has been a drop in quality at Samsung because my Note 4 is still working great, or maybe they just suck at making TVs. If you want a TV that will last, avoid Samsung.

Horrible product with horrible service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv will not stop rebooting. You cannot finish setup and they ask you to complete setup to get service. They will not call back without it. So if you are fortunate, you see about 10 min of Netflix and the tv shuts off. It then restarts a bit later on its own and locks up. After a few more reboots you can get back to Netflix only to start again with the rebooting. I have 2 other Samsung tvs that I like so that was why I got this one. Expensive mistake.

Not good...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bouth TV in November 2016. After six months HDMI ports stop working. Technician from Samsung fixed the problem, no charge because of warranty( only 1 year). After 9 months the same problem happened again and now I have to pay $ 500 for repair. Isn't it ridiculous. I was recommended to buy another one. I loved this TV but I am not sure should I buy the same TV.

Horrible Useless Piece of Crap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid over $500 (plus the geek squad fee) for this tv. The network is spotty. Half of the time it doesn't work. As of today, it stopped detecting my network completely. I had to call geek squad and I have to wait a WEEK to get someone out to fix it. Never again will I with Samsung. Absolute trash. This is all after only having the TV for 4 months.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed! The volume controls failed at 2.5 years old. I watch TV much less than the average person, in fact, the TV has probably been ‘on’ less then 80 hours over the past 1.5 years.
