The picture is fabulous, sound is decent for a cheaper tv. I'm using a external surround sound with subwoofer so it doesn't matter. I could only get it to work with an optical cable . However, this is superior to the red and white, left and right channel hookups. (old school audio). You can't complain about this TV for this cheap price. We buy all Samsung as they are superior to most other brands.

We had recently purchased a Sony x690 4k tv but returned it because it was not a true smart tv. It came with Netflix and Amazon video already installed but we were unable to install new apps that we use daily. The Samsung tv's are true smart tv's and they give you a lot of control over what apps you want installed. The screen is also top quality as you would expect from a company like Samsung.

This TV went on sale, so I decided to buy it. The picture and colors are great, the TV looks nice in my room, and their programming is easy to use. The remote was a total deal breaker, though. It's cheesy and Iarge with buttons that are bulky and easy to press unintentionally. I own a MU6300 with the better remote and it makes a huge difference. I returned it and upgraded to a MU8000 and what a difference that is. Although the MU6290 supports HDR, it does not support HDR10, so it doesnt show HDR on the Xbox/PS4. The MU8000 is infinitely better if you are using an xbox.

It's difficult to change from a 10 year old Plasma TV to a 4k. This tv has great colors, but the settings are generic. It needs to have more selections other than dynamic, standard and movie. The controller is hard to use. Must get a wireless keyboard to make things easier! Best investment for my 2017 purchase.

This tv is so easy to set up and use. All the extra features are totally awesome.

Needed a new TV to replace an older model. Didn't want to spend a lot, and didn't need all of the bells and whistles. DId want a smart TV. I like Samsung products and this TV had all of the features I wanted. The picture is crystal clear and even though the speakers are on the back of the case, the sound quality is such that I no longer need a sound bar. Very pleased with my purchase.
