Nice Picture, Bluetooth does not work

I have spoken to Samsung tech support twice person and they dispatched a local tech out. He was unable to fix problem. I have been told that it is a software issue and I need to wait until Samsung releases an update which may or may not fix problem. Have already been through 2 updates. no luck yet. Probably won't buy any other Samsung products. They don't seem to care about the consumer.

Please know that The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them.
A Bluetooth device may malfunction under the following circumstances:
1) When a part of your body is in contact with the receiving/transmitting system of the Bluetooth device or the TV.
2) When the device is subject to electrical variation from obstructions caused by a wall, corner, or office partitioning.
3) When the device is exposed to electrical interference from same frequency-band devices including medical equipment, microwave ovens, and wireless LANs.

Excellent Smart Remote, Mediocre TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought the MU6300 55" and 43" TVs about 3 weeks ago and ended up returning both of them. One of the main reasons we returned the TVs is because of the judder, since my wife and I are both susceptible to this it made these TVs very hard to watch. However, for the price the MU6300 series of 4K TVs is a steal for what you get vs other brands in the same price range. There are just things you might find having to deal with that might be deal breakers. The Good: - Picture is very good in 4K and the TV does have HDR it is just very limited with options. - Smart Remote, small compact design w/ voice control. The DirecTV Genie box,Blu-ray player and HTR can all be controlled w/ this remote. - App menu and settings are well laid out, simple to use and navigate. - Black Uniformity is the best on these TVs vs other brands in this price range. The Bad: - Judder, if you are susceptible to judder this TV has no way of removing it and is very noticeable. - Sound issues, both of the TVs we had would develop sound issues when using the Smart Features or Setting menus. - App issues, we had the Netflix, YouTube and Browser apps not function at times, happened on both TVs (the 55 2x's the 43" once). - One Remote Voice commands don't work all the time (seems to be a Samsung server issue) - Ads in the Smart menu So for us the judder was a huge issue of course, but add in the apps locking up and that just reinforced our decision to return these TVs. When the apps would lock up we had to unplug the TV for 30 seconds, plug it back in, power on and then sign in to these apps again. The sound issue as well would sometimes require the TV to be turned off and back on. Only the 43" had the sound issue multiple times, the 55" did not. As for the One Remote voice commands not working sometimes, not too big of a deal but still annoying when the feature doesn't work. With all that said, I would recommend the MU6300's to those looking for a good 4K TV in the lower price range. If you do not see the judder and can live some some other minor issues then these TVs are an great value. However, if you can spent a little more for the MU8000 series I would highly recommend doing so, it will pay off in the long run.

TV was broken, Best buy replaced it

It was clearly a construction mistke. I was surprised that Samsung does not catch thsi quality mistakes before releasing the product. However, BestBuy replaced the product very fast and very efficiently and now it works.

Currently, the audio on this tv is stuck on ZERO. the remote will only advance it one or two points. I have to go into "test sound" to raise the volume and then I can hear it but still cannot adjust it further. Every. Single. Time. I. Turn. It. On. I keep getting a Samsung server message that disconnects the TV from Internet service. Takes several attempts to reconnect/reboot the TV bc it won't show a keyboard to let me input my WiFi password. I also tried to reset the Smart Hub which requires me to enter 0000 as the PIN code. But again, the keyboard function doesn't come up. I'm close to throwing something at this foolish thing. I get so upset every time I turn it on.

Burn lines in screen straight out of the box

Got home, opened the box and set it up only to find out there were 6 burn lines spanning horizontally across the screen. Tried multiple ways to fix the issue with no avail. Returned the Samsung and got the Sony 55" and could not ask for a better TV.

Started great. Crapped out

Looks like a mini explosion happened inside. Still works, but the picture is shot. BestBuy said sorry and Samsung said the same. Buyer Beware. Samsung products start great, but their life span is short.

A couple years after purchasing the television, it developed a glitch preventing the volume from being changed. Searching for a solution online, I see many have experienced the same problem and the solutions are only temporary. I’ve had to install a smart switch to make it easier to cold power cycle the tv. Now, after attempting a factory reset, the apps no longer install and are inaccessible. Samsung’s website states they may “retire” apps rather than waste resources supporting them. Sorry Samsung... you’ve lost a loyal customer.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am already a big fan of Samsung, and the Samsung 55" Class Q7F QLED 4K TV has made me into even more of a loyal customer. I was very pleased with the ease of the setup. The connections box is attached to the TV screen itself only via a thin optic cable, which comes in a neat little cable holder. I initially was worried about its delicacy, but it has held up just fine. The cable attachment box itself looks like a small cable box. I really like the fact that it's not attached to the back of the TV screen, as I hate the sight of wires coming out of the back of the TV. This way, I place the box away from the actual TV, and the only visible wires from behind the TV screen are the nearly-translucent optic wire and the white power cable. It is very aesthetically pleasing. The functionality of the TV is so simple and easy, even if one considered oneself not so technically savvy. The set-up instructions were easy to follow. I was able to quickly connect my SONOS sound base and change the settings to make that the main sound output, rather than the TV itself (although I must admit, the sound from the TV itself is not bad at all). I then connected to WiFi and was able to quickly log into my various accounts. Since my previous TV was also a Samsung, I was already familiar with most of the functionalities of the system. The remote control is sleek and futuristic-looking, with an option for voice commands/controls, to navigate everything from the apps to the settings. The display on this TV is stunning. The pictures are clear and crisp, and the colors deep and true. It definitely makes for an amazing viewing experience, whether you're watching a fast-paced action movie or a nature show. A little adjusting on the colors to recommended settings I found online made the pictures all the more incredible. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone who is looking for a 4K viewing experience.

The past few days it hasn't wanted to connect to wifi (everything else does) I go to watch it and every app. Is showing blue lines threw it and it's all static grey at the bottom of the screen. I have it turned on maybe an hour every other night due to work so i hardly use it. But It randomly turns on threw out the night. Not sure what's going on but I'm disappointed for only lasting a short amount of time!

55" TV on 33" stand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a comparison shopper and finally zero'd in on the Samsung TV mainly because of the number of good reviews that it already had, plus I have a Samsung cell phone which takes good quality photos. I figured the technology would carry over into their TVs, and it did. I read many reviews that said many TVs had a slight lean to it when installed on the supposedly flimsy stand, but I do not find that to be true. Mine doesn't lean or tilt forward, but thanks to the reviews, I did have the Geek Squad install it. I figured if something goes wrong, it will be on them. Not me! Also, I could not find anywhere, what the measurements are for the V-stand that comes with this TV. So, for the record, the stand at its widest part is 32.75" and it is ~12.5" deep. This was important to me since I planned to put it on a swivel stand, which I ordered from Amazon since Best Buy does not offer one. In the meantime, I put the TV on 2 cloth placemats so I could rotate it when needed. And, already I have had to rotate it to get something out that dropped behind it. I did save $50 by ordering on-line. Plus, having it delivered to my front door eliminated my figuring out how to get it home. And delivery was free. I did have the Geek Squad install it, but buyer beware. The installation that I selected on-line said "TV Connect and Set-Up". Read the fine print, this was only for setting up the VIDEO part, not the AUDIO. That is an extra $50. I did not catch that. It seems crazy to spend $149 to set up a $550 TV. That makes the installation an additional 25% added to the cost of the TV. Thank God I already had Polk Audio speakers and didn't have to buy a sound bar. It does come with a speaker, but I didn't even bother to have it connected. So, bottom line, yes it is a very good TV. But, note that TVs these days are being sold "a la carte". Buy a TV, buy a separate sound bar, buy a wall mount (if needed), and since they are too complicated to just plug in and watch, also pay for installation. Although, I can say that IF I could lift 35 lbs, I might have attempted to do this myself. But, since I am a 67 yo female, it was too heavy and bulky to attempt.

Simply not worth it

Quite simply, we packed it back up and returned it. The broken screen has a far superior picture. This was so low level no adjustments would make it acceptable. Keep looking. Even a great deal or price won't make the picture better. There are better tvs in the price range.
