I purchased this for my recording studio.super smart tv.

I bought this Samsung 4K LED to replace my 5 year old 3D LG tv that was having display issues with lines through the display. I was searching for a quality tv for a good price since tis’ the season they go on sale. I searched for about a week before deciding on this one. Consumer reports rated this Set a 74. I was debating between this and another LG, the guy at Best Buy told me to go with the LG but I decided to go with the Samsung because I really liked how the display model looked and the images looked smooth compared to the LG. I am happy I went with this model. The set up was easy and I have no complaints about set up, sound or the remote. The sound is pretty loud In the living room and not loud throughout the house. I also have a lg soundbar that is connected via Bluetooth with this Samsung tv, flawless setup! You can’t go wrong with with this TV especially for the price. It’s not even advertised and it’s a 2017 model. I would say this tv is Great if your on a budget and don’t want to spend $1200 for a TV.

I bought a Samsung 55" Smart TV from Best Buy in Virginia Beach, VA on Sun., 2-4-18. I was very disappointed that the TV was defective. It took 2-3 hours of my afternoon to set it up and contact Samsung customer service to try and resolve the issue. I had to load the TV back into my vehicle and take it back to the store. After all of the trouble, I was not interested in exchanging it. I requested a full refund.

Horrible purchase from Best Buy! I will never buy from Best Buy again. TV went out in 17 days, customer service was horrible at Best Buy. I bought the TV brand new. I will never shop at Best Buy again or refer anyone.

I will start out by saying that this wasn't my first choice. I was originally going for the TCL 55" HDR TV. After reading many many reviews, I determined that the Samsung was a better option for me, particularly for watching ice hockey. Multiple reviewers on different sites knocked the TCL for Dirty Screen Effect, and bad motion when it came to viewing ice hockey, and someone said they bought the TCL, returned it and got the Samsung and were very happy. So far I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The deal I got was amazing, Best Buy price matched a $499.99 sale at PC Richard for this tv, so I ordered online and picked up in store 40 minutes later. This is my first smart TV and let me say this thing is smart. Setup was a breeze, the interface is slick and very easy to use. Getting into the nitty gritty display settings can be a little cumbersome, but you aren't doing that often. Navigating between Cable Box, Xbox, and Smart TV apps is very easy. The Samsung smart remote is a thing of beauty. The design and functionality of this thing should win awards. The picture on this TV is great. It's plenty bright, the blacks are black enough for me and contrast is fine. The first thing I did was search for 4k content and I wound up watching tigers in the jungle for about an hour. I was mesmerized. The apps on the TV for you tube, hulu, Netflix and sling, all work well, are easily accessible and very responsive. The speakers are adequate, but I am using it with a receiver and surround sound system. That brings me to my one and only complaint. I can't seem to get the Samsung Smart remote to control the power on my Pioneer Receiver. It's an older receiver and I am using Optical cable for input. During setup, there is a test mode where the receiver gets turned off and on, but once testing is complete, the remote doesn't control it. It works for volume, but that is about it. It is beyond frustrating and I have seen many other complaints about this behavior in forums all over the internet.

After 10 years my TV died. I paid quite a lot then for my 55 inch LCD TV. Then couple of weeks ago I got this 4K Samsung TV. WOW! What a difference in picture, what new features, what a cool looking and intelligent remote. What a cool TV And it cost 1/3 what I paid for my old one then. Thank goodness my old TV broke. I didn't know what I was missing Very happy customer here :)

I've always been a big fan of the Samsung brand, especially their tv. They last for a very long time, and they normally keep up with the technological times, so you never have to really get an updated tv. The picture is crystal-clear and the sound is great. The set up is pretty easy as well. I like the fact that I can control the tv with my phone.

I needed to upgrade and old TV and this one was on sale around Black Friday. The price was great and the smartTV features are really nice. I like how it integrates directly with my AppleTV just by plugging in the HDMI. The stand is a little wobbly, but overall the picture quality is high. I think this TV is better than what I anticipated.

Excellent TV at a great price, This model has all the features of the high end smart TVs, superb 4k picture. The reason I chose this model was because it has Bluetooth connectivity. That allows me to put on my Bluetooth headsets and watch tv while the wife sleeps! No more complaining to turn down the TV so nobody hears it!!

At this point this isn't the newest model with the highest features. For us, it was a great buy at the price. The picture is good. Sound is not great but quite acceptable. Setup is easy. Pros: - The smart TV features are easy to use and have the apps we care about, mostly Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon (there are others, but these are the ones we use). All of these are easy to access and use. - The picture is good. In the store I could tell the difference between the colors on this TV and the next model up, but once we got it home the picture is quite good and I'm happy we didn't spend more. We watched several football games and the TV performed well. - I like having the 3 HDMI ports rather than 2. - The remote and smart tv does fairly well picking up and interpreting voice. Cons: - The picture loses brightness from the side faster than our previous TV. - The built in wireless antenna had difficulty with our wireless connection. Fortunately, it has an easy to use wired connection, and I was able to plug it in easily enough. - The voice recognition, while good at understanding, is spotty in its integration across apps. This makes the lack of numbers on the remote more of a problem than it might otherwise be. We ended up going back to our cable remote for most things.

I bought this TV after reading reviews on consumer reports and other places and decided to buy this Samsung because of the reviews and that it was a best buy rated by consumer reports. I also wanted a Samsung smart tv as I have had good experience with Samsung before though not smart tv. This one allows me to mirror my Samsung tablet to it as well. I really like the smart remote that came with this one and everything else is working great as well. I am very pleased with this TV.

This tv was so easy to set up, it automatically connected to all my existing components. Picture is great and the smart remote is awesome.

Bought this set during Black Friday as a second set and it has been impressive for the price. Got a screaming deal on sale and it was worth the small extra amount over the 6290 (during the sale). If Bluetooth and a more impressive remote are important to you, go with this set. At current prices, go with the 6290 and save a little more money if those features aren’t a draw for you. Picture is great, even at wide angle and sound is sufficient for such a thin tv.

I am an amateur gamer, professional Netflix watcher, and daily TV user. I previously owned a Samsung and have a Samsung phone so this TV setup is incredibly easy as the program lets you set up via phone (i.e. taking your Samsung login information and other basic setup information from your phone, like Wifi info). The 4K Ultra quality is very much so ultra--watching a British nature documentary is incredible. The TV stand setup is also basic and easy. The TV is slightly heavier than the comparable LG model, but I was able to lift it by myself. There are a couple minor features I think could have been done better. For one, once you've paired a bluetooth device, when you turn on the device, the TV won't automatically ask if you want to connect as my previous Samsung TV did. Second, the simple remote (while great) doesn't have a settings button, so when you want to go to your settings, you have to take a few more steps than I think is necessary (clicking home, clicking all the way over to the settings button, etc.). This is very annoying everytime I want to connect bluetooth headphones or change the screen settings, etc. Third, I do notice that when I'm not directly facing the screen, even being just slightly off center, the picture is a little dimmer, but it's a small difference. Sound quality seems great. Of course, as with most flatscreens, the speakers being on the back of the TV does slightly affect the sound, but the volume is pretty great. Even when it's on level 5, the sound is pretty incredible. Definitely no regrets on this purchase. I got this delivered, and the deliverymen walked up about 4 flights of stairs early on a Friday morning, no complaints, very courteous and careful with my new baby.

We love this TV. It replaced a Toshiba that we returned because we were very unhappy with it. This TV synchronizes with the Samsung sound bar seamlessly that we purchased along with the TV. Excellent picture, features, and apps. The whole family loves this TV as it is so easy to use and feature packed.

I purchased this for the Black Friday price of $600. Whilst my old flatscreen was from 2011 AND plasma it was time to upgrade. The picture is fantastic and the audio quality from the built in speakers leave nothing to be desired for smaller rooms. Internet connectivity is an issue as YouTube wouldn’t even load, but I’ve got an xbox one hooked up to it, so apps and the like are not an issue per se. The stand feels cheap and flimsy, and does not (mine didn’t anyway) affix firmly to the screen. Currently waiting on mounting stand from Best Buy to show up. All in all the image quality is great with small issues only the most elite visual buffs will detect.

If you take the time to tweak the picture and sound, and read up on some of the settings and experiment a little the tv has a really nice picture. The tv is full of features such as a full web browser, 100s of apps to install for music, tv and even games. Yes there is sometimes a small ad on the main menu but it does not in any way get in the way or hinder the use of anything nor is it annoying in any way. The smart remote is great, it’s works my Apple TV better than the remote that they come with. Voice features are quick and responsive and work rather well if your in to that kind of thing. This tv replaced a by no means bad Samsung 1080p model from 2008, ultimately because I wanted a larger tv to hang on the wall. Hoping I will get 9 years + out of this model like my previous model. At the time of writing this review I’ve had the tv about 6 weeks, I use it daily 4-5 hours, All in all for a $500 55” 4K tv it works good, and I would buy it again.

It is very easy to setup TV. it provides many application in built to download, The best part of the TV is that It supports web browser where you can actually do browsing and it works very smooth and also it has Bluetooth where you can connect your wireless headphone or keyboard/mouse and make your browsing experience even better. Picture quality is best. I would definitely recommend this TV to friend.
