Great TV for the money. Quite an upgrade from my Sony. The only odd thing is the remote.

The only issue I had with this TV was the color quality of the picture if I stood up from the couch. It was grey and bland versus, the vibrant picture I saw while sitting down. Obviously it had to do with the TV being edge-lit instead of being back-lit, which would be my recommendation when looking for a 4k TV. Everything else on the Samsung was great, especially the smart hub and OneConnect.

I don’t know how this tv performs. I had a lot of trouble getting the stand on and when I did it was so unstable that I returned it. Thinking about getting a mounted tv.

I want to start off by saying I went though numerous research on the MU9000 and never found much to go off of. I was mainly looking to see what are the diffeeences between this and the Q7F. After excessive debating I decided to purchase the MU9000. After getting this Home the picture out of the box is amazing. Even without a 4k source. Much better than I expected since not being able to see true loops on this tv since it was not apart of the QLED wall display. After calibrating this tv i now see why they would not put this on the wall. The picture is almost on par with the QLED. The major difference is the more color and brightness you get out of the QLED but it won’t be noticeable to most. All of my friends thought this tv was bright and was a QLED because of the high quality design. Which i may add, is really something to weigh in on. I owned this set for 2 weeks and it was more than enough to enjoy for less than the price of a QLED. The one connect box made it easy to connect and disconnect anything to the tv. I can’t review the sound of the tv as I use a surround sound setup. The one connect remote is smart and the tv recognizes anything you connect to it. The only con I will say is with the stand you have to make sure it’s tightened just right, or Your tv will sit at an angle. I had to readjust mine to get the tv to level off. *Update* I did exchange the MU9000 for the Q7F because I was able to get it for the same price that I paid for my MU9000. I will say you won’t notice any difference in brightness, or color, until you find a strong HDR source. So if you’re able to get the Q7f for a good deal then yes, go for it. But for the price difference the MU9000 is a show stopper and more than worth the money. Also, you can’t tell in pictures or in store. But the top half of the MU9000 is thinner than the Q7F. The over all thickness is the same though. Differences in design.

This Samsung - 55 Class - LED Smart Television appeared to be a really good deal when it was purchased. About 2 months after the warranty expired the screen went wonky and Samsung wanted crazy money to fix it. I only have two thumbs so two thumbs down.

I don't like the tiny remote with no number buttons or proper up and down ones for volume and channel. The Samsung house brand streaming software is awful! It has so few apps available. Why couldn't they have used Roku, Amazon Fire or Google Chromecast? The plate on the back to cover cables does not fit. I can add a Bluetooth keyboard for their built in web browser, but not a bluetooth mouse. Why not? It makes the browser unusable. The screen colors are exaggerated and cartoonish. It is like getting glossy photos when you ordered matte. It also has no analog inputs for my legacy devices.

TV works great! My beef is with Best Buy

I've been a Best Buy customer from the original opening of the local store. Have purchased nearly all my computers, Ipads, TVs, and numerous other items from Best Buy. For some reason, my purchases seem to get reduced in price shortly after the transaction. Same thing happened with the Samsung 9000 series TV, which was purchased on October 25, 2017 for $1299.99. Visiting the store on November 20, I found out the TV had been reduced by $100.00. It's pretty standard for a merchant to grant a refund for a sale item within a 30-day window. (It's fairly standard practice for me to visit a store within a 30-day period of a major purchase, just to see whether the item might have been reduced in price.) Showing the customer service representative my original register receipt, she told me that the TV that I had purchased had only a 15-day refund period. Since this is not common, why can't the sales agent inform the customer of these special details?

I just dont like how the remote does not have the option functionality like a wii remote as the LG magic remote does ( totally love it) and there is not enough apps on tizen other than that, picture and colors are great, all tho motion judderness should be fixed, its kinda annoying but if samsung had these things fixed, i would definitly give it a 5 star
