Trouble each time it turns on

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after a mere two years the screen has completely gone out. which is beyond frustrating as it was literally days after the two year warranty expired. also, the tv claims it can connect to a bluetooth speaker, but after hours of being on the phone with best buy and samsung support... turns out, that was a lie. super disappointed as i've always had such great luck with samsung tv's. the last one we had for years... only purchased a new one for the size difference. oh... and I don't know the technical name, but the screen developed rows of discoloration and i think it's called halloing effect. I should have returned it then... but i didn't think it was a big deal. don't buy this tv.

Poor quality . Good entry level tv.

The video appears to be from a very old tv. No new up grades. Not enough hdmi's. Sound is poor quality. Needless to say I returned it. I had to go up to the 8000 series to get one to my liking.

Please know that the NU6900 does feature many advancements to bring you clear, sharp, vibrant picture enjoyment, including PurColor (for millions of rich colors), HDR10+ (for exceptional dynamic range), and Motion Rate 120 (for fluid motion). I am sorry this model disappointed.

No voice assist

Even best buy website clearly list in the specifications. Voice assist built in. But checked with Samsung and it does not. Yes you can add/buy additional product to do that. But the fact is there no built in like the best buy shows on their site.

Continuotus issues with DRM channels / Roku

There has always been an issue with this TV not displaying DRM content. When a DRM channel is selected (HBO/Cinemax) the screen flickers and audio cuts out. Attempts have been made to communicate with Samsung, but they have very limited support hours and long "hold" queues. This is also an issue with Roku and standard channels, although with both of these devices the issue appears clear up after the TV is on for about 20 minutes. Some have suggested that 4K certified cables should be used. I have burned through four different of "certified" cables to no avail.

Tried all the suggestions online, and Best Buy associate. TV may have been defective. Picture could not get bright enough. Disappointed. Wanted it to be good.

TV worked

After interacting with Samsung Customer Service and seeing the quality behind this product, I will no longer be purchasing Samsung TV's. There is a reason why these tvs are so affordable. In conclusion, pay the extra toward another company so that you end up having a TV well past your warranty. I have relatives and friends with that have tvs that are still working perfectly and guess what company they are with? Not Samsung.

Black shadow/shade on screen

I didn’t purchase the warranty because I trusted Samsung would have made a quality television. My television now has a black shade on half the screen. Samsung only backing the product for one year proves their product is scrap. The repair would cost at least $250 per technician. The current price for television is $379, I paid 499 or 599. According to blogs and reviews this is a known problem with this television. Samsung you need to do better. I’m purchasing a Sony. Not paying to repair this terrible tv a waste of money.

Stopped working fast!

Bought expensive hdmi cables suggested by Samsung technician. This didnt fix it, nothing they suggested fixed it. Taking it back tomorrow! Junk! Should have read reviews, apparently this happens a lot!
