    There are many great features but the one missing is the ability to assign a default input at power up. This negates all of the many positives! 99% of the time I want my cable box to be the active input when I turn on TV. There are many device inputs and several USB power ports so things like fire stick can get power from the TV. When you turn on the TV the first powered up device is the port selected. I have many devices and needed to get a TV with multiple device inputs because I would have to connect them when I want to view them. With this TV, because the cable box takes time to power up, it is always the last of my devices to become active. So in actuality having many inputs along with USB power ports makes me have to avoid using them. Even if I don’t use the USB power, the devices initialize much faster than the cable box, so they still are the active inputs. If that one control was available, then this would be a FABULOUS TV. Without it, the TV is as useLESS as a 20 year old TV!

      I am very sorry for the inconvenience you encountered with not being able to set your cable box as the default input when you turn on the TV.

      Please know the TV will always power on to the last TV / HDMI source used.

      It is possible to set power on to a certain HDMI source. Please contact Samsung Customer Support and an agent will assist you.
