Not Bluetooth/ No voice remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I'm pleased with this television. the setup was easy. The picture and sound is better than my other high definition televisions which are not 4k, or smart televisions. The only problem I have with it, and it's not a big problem is that it doesn't come with a voice remote control, and you can't buy one because it's not Bluetooth. This is very surprising because I've seen 2 or 3 year old televisions that had voice remotes. I just assumed that this one did. Oh well!

Excellent for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this TV for a couple of months now. I am impressed with the features of this TV for the low price point. This is TV is a huge improvement over the Samsung plasma I had in my room previously. Not to mention the TV doesn't give off nearly as much heat as the plasma did. Although Samsung has improved the quality of the speakers for prolonged gaming or movie watching I would advise still using a soundbar or other audio device.

Good ... BUT...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I am happy with the TV. Easy to set up, no issues with resolution, etc. However there is one BIG issue that is pretty annoying and important for a buyer of this tv/manufacturer to note. Right out of the box, the tv's memory space is 75% full. That is from all of the pre-installed apps (ie. Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc) which you CANNOT uninstall. Ok, that's fine for several of the apps like Netflix that most folks may use. However there are apps like Fandango and some others which I will never use. These cannot be removed. That leaves you with only 25% space on the tv to install your own app channels. Pretty crappy in my opinion. Basically you'll pay $500 and only be allowed to modify 25% of the space of the overall memory for what you want instead of what Samsung thinks you should want. Therefore you may want to research what apps come pre-installed on this tv to see if you use most of them or if you are the person who wants to control more of what is on the tv, in which case you may want to go with another tv model/manufacturer. So initially I'd give the tv five stars but because of this issue which Samsung controls even though I spent my $$$ on it, I am going to rate it a 3 - average.

PIcture great, but.....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the picture on this TV, but the sound leaves something to be desired. Above all there is no bluetooth even when I was told there was and I have been unable to connect it to Alexa. It irks me, I am about ready to return it. Plus, it is nearly impossible to get anyone to help. You get put on terminal hold.

Great 4K TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't go wrong with Samsung. My first 4k tv and man is it great! Have it hooked up to my ps4, cable, and 4k UDH blu ray player and it looks great with everything. I did buy 4k compatible hdmi cables. So if you're looking for a great overall 4k tv without spending too much, look no further! Geek Squad guys were also super helpful and quick!

Quit after 4 years.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We loved this tv until it broke down after 4 years. The picture quality was excellent and the streaming experience very good but then it got black shadow wide streaks going vertically down the screen. Fortunately we had a 5 year warranty on it and Best Buy honored it.

good tv for the kids
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this to replace my 2010 Panasonic plasma, needless to say i miss my plasma, this TV looks good if a single picture or a slow pace show is on, but once you put on sports or anything fast moving tv starts to judder quite noticeably compared to my plasma. after playing with all the settings and changing cables i still couldn't get it to my liking, ended up returning the tv and now attempting to repair my plasma, go figure. seems like you need an OLED to surpass the performance of the old plasma's. again great for the kids room or tv for bedroom, but not a main tv,

Posted .Hi keefo88,
Have you tried adjusting Auto Motion Plus? It is a feature designed to eliminate blur and judder on an LED TV, specifically in fast moving images. It does so by taking a 30 fps signal and adds in additional frames to help smooth out any blur or judder between frames, called interpolation.
Here is the step-by-step guide to change Auto Motion Plus settings:
With the TV powered on, press the Home button on the Samsung remote to open the Home screen> Select Settings>.Select Picture > Select Expert Settings> Select Auto Motion Plus.
(Note: This option may not be visible initially. Continue scrolling through the Expert Settings Menu to locate Auto Motion Plus)
>Select Auto Motion Plus again, and you will see the following three options:
◦Off: Auto Motion Plus will always be off.
◦Auto: Auto Motion Plus will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched.
◦Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used.
By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings:
- Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting.
- Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting.
- LED Clear Motion: Select to turn On/Off.

Reasonable size for excellent viewing experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We're very pleased with this high quality Samsung product. The U high definition picture quality is a huge improvement over my last smart TV, and something I now can't imagine not having. I went back and forth with purchasing a slightly larger model, but I'm really happy with the 55".

worst tv ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really loved this tv the first year. After that it began to update, very often, 3 times in one week. No problem, it takes about 10 minutes so no big deal. After about a year the updates began to 'dump' the sites I was using and I would have to sign in all over again. So, 10 minutes for the updates (which happen regularly now, 3-10 times per month), and another 10 minutes to get Netflix (or Hulu or Amazon) re-loaded. Now I have to call Samsung, about once every 6 weeks and spend 20 minutes on hold, and then 20 to 60 minutes while they do a remote management and I unplug the tv and whatever else they need me to do... I am on the phone right now while I am typing. The agent has just said that I should hang up and call my internet service provider because they were blocking netflix. I told him he needs to fix it, clearly it is a Samsung problem and not an ISP problem so he's trying something else. After all, it worked before the TV updated itself, and I can get it on all of my other devices. So he says there is nothing they can do, I ask to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor says I need a new motherboard, to take the tv to be repaired. Turns out I get Netflix to help me and it’s all good (until the next update, which should be at least a week). While the samsung support staff seems to try hard, I haven’t really enjoyed making new phone friends every 6-8 weeks just so I can watch Grace and Frankie. WORST TV EVER. I cannot wait until it breaks permanently so that I can buy a new one JUST NOT A SAMSUNG.
