Screws????

It does not NOT come with the screws/bolts to mount it to an existing wall mount bracket. Samsung should have the tv come with not only the screws for the legs but also the back of the tv.

Upgrade into a downgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as well as a sound bar to upgrade an older Panasonic plasma set. My main reason from choosing this panel was the 46” 6300 panel that I purchased for the bedroom a few years ago. That panel has been amazing, the picture is incredible for an HD panel, it offered lots of adjustment and came with the smart remote which works very well. I assumed moving to a 7 series panel would be at least a lateral move, boy was I wrong. I will admit that I should have reviewed the specs more closely and tried to get a better feel for the panel at the store. During set up everything seemed ok, that is until I started to tweak the setting... when exiting the setting it drops out to the smart hub menu and you have to hit exit multiple times to close it. Unfortunately my cable remote can’t exit from the smart hub so it’s just stuck without using multiple remotes. The picture is decent, but with the backlight maxed out and brightness all the way up it’s an extremely dark panel and has very muddy details. Finally with hdmi input/outputs for all sources it will not stay on the surround setting in the audio menu, you can watch it change back as you are changing channels or surfing the menus on the Xbox. The sound quality with the surround on is in all ways superior with the 5.1 sound bar... I am seriously considering returning the panel and moving to the 8000 series panel but with all the negative reviews about popping and failures I’m at a loss.

Turns Off and On Without Warning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am trying to love this beautiful picture but it is so disheartening that it glitches off and on and at times just blacks out to where I don't know if it is off or on. I've even researched through YouTube what to do in regards to this and they mentioned it might be the HDMI cord. After disabling, that didn't work. I ordered a new Directv box thinking that was the problem, still shuts off and on. I've even upped my Internet speed and this TV still shuts off and back on or just blacks out. At times I can't raise or lower the volume. I'm just disappointed in this product not working from the jump. Just surprised because I've always been team Samsung. Almost everything in my house is Samsung even down to the Fridge. Smh.

Issues less than two months old
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV and a Samsung sound bar at the same time. It worked great for almost two months. Sound bar stopped working with TV. Called Samsung tech support and they had me preform various tests. Sent out sound bar to get repaired. Got the sound bar back and still same problem. Called tech support again. They had me preform more test. They had me send out sound bar again. The repair center found no issues with the sound bar and sent it back. Of course still didn't work. Called tech support again. Samsung tech support had me on the phone for one hour preforming all kinds of test and download. Still nothing. Samsung escalated the issue to the next group. They were supposed to get back to me in 1-2 business days. After three days I didn't hear anything from Samsung and called tech support again. The tech on the line had me do more test and of course nothing worked. So they said the next higher group of support would call me in 47 minutes. After two hours no call so I called them back again. They had no intentions of ever calling me back because when I called back the tech who answered looked at the case and said, oh we need you to do more testing with us. By this time I am getting a little aggravated as it has been three weeks now and nothing has changed but a big run around. Another forty five minutes of testing with the tech and he tells me it is the TV, no kidding. The tech told me the service center would call me to make an appointment as the one board inside the TV needs to be replaced. The next day the service company called and set up the appointment which would be in three days. The service company came out and asked me what the issue was with the TV, am I missing something here? He had the new board with him that he needed to replace. Well, after about fifteen minutes of the tech working on my TV he calls me in the room. He broke all the ribbon connections on the back of the TV when he took the back cover off. He said he has to order a new screen and new mother board as he broke the one in the TV. You have got to be kidding me. So now this "new" TV needs a new screen, new mother board plus the board he brought with him that Samsung determined was the issue. The only thing they will not be replacing on this "new" TV is the plastic housing and one other same circuit board in the TV. So now I have no TV at all, still waiting for them to call me back when they expect the parts and can come out. And there is no guarantee that when they get done everything will work and who knows for how long. Worst customer service and repair center ever.

Lasted 2 Months - Broke Just Before Super Bowl
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased on Nov 18th and it broke on Jan 20th. The power began turning on and off by itself. I referenced Samsung's website and followed all troubleshooting steps. Powercycling, removing and replacing all inputs. I used Samsung chat to set up a service appointment but this took at least an hour. The online service support form is very poor and uses unsecure javascript. I would not use it unless you really had to. Once I completed the service request, I was contacted by Best Buy that a technican would make an appointment to examine the TV, in-home. This never happened, instead I received a call from Geek Squad telling me to go through all of the same troubleshooting steps that I did with Samsung. So, they wasted another week. Now, they are again promising to send a technician but not until another week. So I will have been without a TV for 3 weeks from point of defect. Mind you, the TV has a 1 year parts and labor warranty. This has been a humiliating and degrading experience. I can't say that all Samsung TVs are this poorly made but I can tell you that the brand name Samsung holds very little value in my opinion. There are so many flat panel manufactuers out there that have reasonable support and reasonable access to repair. Once fixed, I'll donate this TV to my church and buy something with more value and quality. To add insult to injury, the technican scheduled from Best Buy won't arrive UNTIL after the Super Bowl, the first time LA has had a team there for a long time. Thanks Samsung.

Samsung's quality is becoming awful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was good while it lasted, but Never buying Samsung TV's again, 5 yrs in Samsung LED TV 7 Series won't turn on &flashes white on left side when plugged in. Any other brand last longer than that. I have many Samsung products but with this level of quality (or rather lack of) it's time to buy other brands. It's a shame as for a while, Samsung TV's were really good.

Good TV, but not great

My mother's 8+ year old Aquos has a much better picture and it's a 1080p...... that's absurd. The sound isn't bad for a TV these days, but again, not great. No matter what I do, I can't get as good of a picture as I think I should and the motion on it sucks in regular mode AND in game mode. I think I'm going to try to return it and try the 55inch QLED for a couple hundred $ more... hopefully that will be acceptable.

Horrible

The screen started having shadows in random places, then the left side went black, then it went halfway black, then it went all black and stopped working. I bought the TV in August of 2020 and it went black back in May of 2023.
