After 5 months, needs repair
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought tv in March. August 29th, it starts blinking. At first, intermittently, then constantly. Goes dark for a second or 2, comes back on, repeat. Called Samsung, updated tv, went back to mfg settings, nothing helped. Spoke to 3 different folks at Samsung, finally technician coming out in a week. In looking at Samsung blogs, this is a common occurrence with their current product line. I was on one blog that had 76 pages of dissatisfied customers commenting on this same problem. Some customers were able to get it fixed, most were not. Take this into consideration when purchasing Samsung.

Nice picture, terrible sound

Low end tv

Lasted only a year and 4 months.

I have always bought Panasonic but have a samsung phone and blueray players and after reading reviews, figured would give it a try. Wish i would have stuck to my old brand. And to make matters worse, geek squad wont help/fix because I did not purchase the extended warranty, even after I said I would pay cash. Was told they dont do that anymore, only with extended warranty. So I guess I am going back to panasonic (old tv is 10 years+ and still works) and somewhere else to buy it.

Samsung drops the ball... Again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well enough but after 4 years, half of the TV is dark from the backlights failing. Super disappointing. Every few weeks it also gets stuck and "can't connect to the internet" even after following all the troubleshooting on the TV, trying to forget and reconnect to the network, but the only thing that works is unplugging and plugging the TV back in.

Not impressed

As soon as I turned it on I knew something was wrong. One of the speakers was/is bad. Sounds blown. After reading other reviews, it appears the quality control for this model/series is not up to par. Or maybe they're just not using quality parts anymore? Returning to BB tomorrow for something different.

It appears everyone has an issue, some maybe user error most are equipment related. I am a big fan of Samsung and Best Buy lets keep the review numbers current. It may have been great during the first released now its being replaced and I can see why,

No good quality TV - problems

We have had this TV since 2018 and is just a few months out of warranty. We are experiencing black shadow line down middle and to left of TV. Whenever we call about this - Samsung suggest that we pay for repair. This is absolutely ridiculous--this is an expensive TV and I have never had a TV have issues after a short period of time. I have TVs that I have had for many many years with no issues. Come on Samsung - do the right thing - either recall or repair at no charge. This is obviously not a user error - this is a manufacturing problem. Many others who have this TV have this same issues. Samsung should stand behind their products.

Nice but short life

Dead 3.5 years later. RIP Also, volume leveling in TV can not be used with Samsung soundbar. Disappointing.

I've been a loyal Samsung owner, but I was very disappointed & returned this one after 6 days & bought the Sony 55X750F, (the Sony is $200 more, but the picture is 1000% better!

Dead in 2 years

He uses the TV only for gaming and mostly on weekends, so it's not used very often. This TV is crap. About a month ago, the screen went black with pixel boxes in the top corners. I didn't purchase extended warranty as all our TVs have always lasted many many years, We have a 65 in Sony that is almost 6 yrs old and is still working perfectly. I selected the Samsung as it was only for gaming and was less than the Sony. Don't waste your money on this TV, spend a little more and get a Sony. I also reached out to Best Buy and they want to charge me and Samsung and they only offer a 12 month warranty. I am better off just getting a new TV. I will never buy another Samsung product again.
