    Fair picture but that's all

Let's start with, I'm no expert. We're just an average family looking for a new tv and trying to ditch the cable monopoly. We bought this tv and right off found it to be very difficult to set up. It doesn't have many of the apps needed to be a happy streamer. We spent hours with Samsung, Direct TV Now, etc. The channels that did work had terrible lag time with pic. EX: hockey games - puck never did catch up.. prob never will. We took it back and got the TCL 6 series. It's WAY better in every way. Easy set up and everything worked. Didn't call tech support even once.. One TCL review I read said "thy only views Samsung screens" ... NOT me! Of course these are both 500 tv's. But if you're looking for easy set up, use and great picture the Samsung is NOT it!!

    Screen goes bad

Bought this TV Black Friday weekend of 2018. Started noticing we had to constantly sign in to our apps. Then Hulu decided to work when it wants too. In Jan started noticing the screen was going out from the side and started flashing only when Hulu played. So we quit using Hulu. Now it does it no matter what you are watching tv or an app. It is getting worse to the point you cannot watch TV. We still are having issues with needing to keep resigning into apps and hope they work. Nothing has happened to this TV. We have kept great care of it. It has to be the TV itself. This TV sucks!!!

    Bad Smart TV software

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The installed software is not very good. We use Direvtv Now and the Samsung version is very bad. Things that work in our Visio and iPads won’t work in this TV. Going to buy a Fire Stick to get away from the Samsung software.

    Don't Waste Your Money

This is the worst TV I've ever purchased and I'm surprised at Samsung for putting this on the market. Sound AND Picture quality are Extremely Poor - even advanced setting options aren't enough to correct. My Polaroid box TV purchased 20 years ago and kept in a basement bedroom has better audio/visual than this. Spend a little more for the Sony but definitely don't waste your money on this TV.

TV reasonable, but Samsung ads are very annoying

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This TV is reasonable value for money but totally fails due to Samsung selling your viewing data to advertises. Then ads are shown in the TV menu bar that cannot be disabled! So, after spending a lot of money on your Smart TV, Samsung still exploits their own customers. I strongly recommend not buying any Samsung TV.

    turns itself on

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've had the tv for not even a week and it has turned itself on twice now. Once in the middle of the night and once while I was gone. Seems to be a good tv but not happy that it turns itself on. Would not recommend unless you like to pay the electricity to have it on while gone.

    It's not a monitor not a TV

It's not a TV if it doesn't have a RF connection. It's just a monitor.

      MikeFromFL,

Please know that the NU7100 series does have a RF/Coax connection in the TV and has a QAM/ATSC Tuner built-in. You can connect an antenna directly to this input.
