The sales associate at Best Buy made the perfect comment: any new tv you get will be an upgrade. So true! My last tv was a 32" Samsung that still worked beautifully. It now has a new home. This 55" inch is glorious. The picture and sound are amazing. All those HD channels I ignored before are the only channels I watch now. Highly recommended!

Great TV, poor remote and applications

The built in app selection is also lacking, not saying you can't go out and get what you want but the fact that most big apps don't come pre-installed was a let down. Besides that the TV was great, my favorite small improvement they added was the cable management clip that comes with the leg of the TV to hide your cords.

TV for Gamers

The darks look great in dark rooms, and the color range is worthy of its price. The HDR is the only thing lacking in performance, as its best to keep it off with its minimal color range, and turn on gaming mode for optimal low lag input and screen artifact refresh time. Great 4k TV, solid performance for 500 bucks.

Awesome Smart TV

This is my first smart TV and had mostly LG TVs, but I absolutely LOVE this Samsung!! Plus I have a S9+ phone so they work together nicely ad well. The picture is so perfect! Wow what a difference going from 720p to 4k!! I am extremely happy with my purchase! The app functions work much better on this smart TV than the wifi DVD players I had!
