Two years in, it developed a dark stripe down the left side of the screen! Out of manufacturer warranty, of course! Don’t buy one of these!

Great tv. Going on 5 years with a ton of usage hours and no issues at all. Definitely recommend Samsung TVs. I use surround sound but the tv speakers itself are much better than other TVs I’ve had.

This was my first 4K TV purchase and I have had it several weeks now.
Set-up was easy, except for the fact that it does not include the 4 screws you need to attach it to a wall or TV stand mount. Really, Samsung!
Outside of that, the picture is phenomenal, it's easy to configure the SMART TV options (I use Netflix with 4k resolution, HULU and Amazon and all are supported), as well as YouTube. In addition, the remote works well and overall the TV is very easy to use.
A few days later I went out and bought a Samsung Sound Bar with an external Sub Woofer. The Optical Cable was included and it was "plug and play". In addition, the TV turns the Sound Bar on and off,
Overall I am extremely satisfied and I strongly recommend this TV.

The connectivity is what I consider; simplicity at it’s finest. The sound quality is nice & contributes consistent base. Especially while watching a Harry Potter Film. Video games come out great with the 4K capability & enhanced 4K HDMI cables sold separately add another atmosphere to your experience. It’s a light weight TV & easy to use with a Smart-Phone app & the controller is comfortable (no light to brighten the buttons). There is minor glare depending on placement of the television. Samsung did not fail me & I am completely happy with this purchase.

I did a lot of research and I found that this tv has the best features and technology for the money. I paid $549 for this tv. The color and sound are awesome. I read the bad reviews but I guess I lucked out and got a good one lol. It works perfectly for me. Only cons I have are minor. 1) the buttons on the remote are all the same size so not very intuitive. 2) every time you turn the tv on the menu pops up. It’s just a minor annoyance but worth the mention if you care. I would definitely buy Samsung again.

The tv has great sound, picture, color and clarity. It is light and easy to set up. The only bad thing I could not use my new Blue Ray player on it. It could not read the player. I have 2 players and neither one could be read. I changed the hdmi cable and the hdmi site to no avail. They worked fine on other tvs. Help...players are

My wife is a nut for research so when we had to replace our 55" Vizio, she got busy! This Samsung - 55" Class - LED - NU7100 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR is the best in it's class and has lived up to the reputation!
Clear, crisp picture, good sound and very lightweight, easy to move around. It took no time at all to hook it up to our satellite system/dvr/dvd set up. Controls are pretty intuitive and laid out well, both on screen and on the remote.
The perfect choice for us!

This TV replaced a Sony 36 XRB tube set that I bought new back in 1998 that finally crapped out on me. The XRB ran at 1080i resolution and really an outstanding picture for the day. Really the best tube set ever, but I was very appreciative that BB took the old 300 pounder away for only $20. (I think that whole side of the house rose 1/2" when they dragged it out.) The picture on the this 55" set is almost 4 times larger than the old one and it's crystal clear. I've had great luck with my dual Samsung monitors on my computer so I was leaning more toward Samsung than the other brands. The only negatives are that it doesn't come with a component input, (but I only have a single device that uses component anyway), and you'll need to get a sound bar, it's sound output is kind of weak. Though it may be the stations themselves; TBS seems to be the worst, sound on Ad's way too loud and movie sound way too soft. Do have it running though my 7.2 receiver, but it's nice not to have to have that running all the time. The Samsung found my network right away and the interface is pretty easy. I downloaded the apps for both my phone and tablet and they work great. Highly recommended.

We love this TV! The picture quality is great and it doesn't have much glare with the sunset in the afternoon. We used to have to close our blinds with our previous TV because the afternoon glare made it difficult to see. It has plenty of HDMI ports for us -- we use 3. We'd recommend this if you're wanting a good quality without spending a fortune on the really good TVs! The colors and lighting of it are great for us!

This is an amazing television. I could not be happier with this purchase. After spending hours of looking at all available models, I selected this set based on my perception of the best quality, most desirable features, and price point. I would recommend this model to any and everyone. After watching this for a month now, I am still in love with it and I have no regrets in buying this model.

Overall good initial experience with TV. Set up was very easy to follow onscreen instructions when you first turn on TV. Overall picture quality is very good. Easy connections to cable box and other components. TV is not very heavy and straightforward and easy to wall mount. As others have noted, would like better internal speakers if not using external speakers (soundbar or home theater)

Purchase this for my mother and she says it has a good TV picture, good sound. TV looks great. It does not have Bluetooth nor a smart remote. So if these are important to you, this is not the TV for you. Easy enough to install, not heavy, and two people can do it. This is a good middle of the road TV

The picture is UHD goodness! Size and brightness works well for our viewing area. I think it's a general 4K thing but movement seems much more fluid relative to HD-1080p and takes a little bit to get used to. One month in now and it still strikes me sometimes when watching action sequences and intros.
We use it for streaming 4K movies primarily and have tried both the LAN and wifi without noticing a lot of difference between the two. Remote control and switching of source audio/video using the TV control via ARC-HDMI works the same as it did with the previous television despite our using an older surround receiver.
My only complaint - with a cost of one star, is due to the flakiness of one of the Samsung hub streaming applications. While watching two different (rented $) movies, on separate occasions $$, the app decided to crash and reboot the set. Then, on reconnect, act up in different ways with varying short periods of buffering, viewing or crashing again. Using the other applications and an external Android tv box resolved that.

Bought this TV before the Super Bowl, needed to replace a ten year old LCD 42". Really like the Samsung, quality and features are excellent. Having a 4k capable TV also ensures years of use. Hanging on my wall in my living room couldn't be happier. Great price, great tv.

This model is being sold down, so the price was right for me. We had no issues mounting it, but I did have to get new screws for the mount I already had on the wall. I connected my optical audio output to my Samsung sound bar and had no issues getting it to work. The initial setup wizard was super smooth, which made getting it going very easy. Also, SmartHub has a faster processor than my old AppleTV (version 4, not 4K). I only have about 50mbps internet, but I’ve had no problems streaming nice quality video through the SmartHub. I also have a Logitech universal remote, and had no issues getting that connected. Finally, picture is awesome, IMHO. I may not be the best judge because my old TV was 42” Samsung, non 4K, so anything would have been a huge upgrade. But I have no complaints two months into purchase.

The picture quality is nearly amazing, and the size of the screen is just right for viewing from anywhere between ten feet to twenty-five feet. It does better than a projector would do under the same circumstances, is cheaper, and the HDR is better than I thought it would be.
BEST PERK: It fits in perfectly with my Apple TV - 4k. Together they are unstoppable. When I click the Apple TV - 4K remote, the TV comes on instantaneously. If I'm using another input, like for my XBOX ONE or TV or my SECURITY SYSTEM, it skips right to my Apple TV's input, without having to handle any other remote.
If only all of these systems worked that way. This TV was designed with the Apple TV consumer in mind; it has Smart capabilities but these are redundant to the Apple TV capabilities.
Smartly handled!
