It would last a few days then go away and then redisplays on the screen. It is incredibly disappointing and we can't get an exchange since the issue occurred after the deadline of the stores return policy. I am out of luck and money on this tv. My wife and I enjoyed the tv until it went bad.

We started noticing that any streaming was getting very slow and things that had previously been flawless would stop and buffer in the middle. Then, sound started cutting in and out - the TV would be playing and would "mute" itself without cause. We couldn't get the sound back unless we waited it out (several minutes), or shut everything all the way down. We followed all of the troubleshooting guides, but nothing helped. Now, it disconnects from wifi every few minutes (literally) and we have to go "remind" it that it's really connected. The best we have been told is that the wireless adapter inside the TV is not working. Dealing with the Samsung customer service for the manufacture warranty has been a nightmare, and I was finally told today (after waiting around for a technician to show up for a scheduled service appointment last week) that Samsung does not offer service technicians in my area - and I live in the middle of 3 large cities all under 45 minutes away. This TV is extremely expensive to have to be dealing with such malfunctions in less that 1 year from purchase.
