Assisted my mother in purchasing a new TV. Her 15in larger from a 42 a 55 same TV that I have at home in a 65 inch she absolutely loves it loves the quality of the picture the sound everything was fantastic. she's had her new TV for 2 weeks now and hasn't stopped talking about it absolutely loves it thank you very much.

Our largest tv we own was giving us some problems so we decided to look for a newer, bigger one. This one we purchased is the correct size for the room and has a wonderful picture. Very happy with our purchase. Also the sales person who sold us the tv was exceptional in his knowledge and very pleasant to work with.

I purchased this tv model after not being satisfied with the lower priced Samsung's that were on sale prior to Black Friday and during same. I was expecting this 8000 series to have a better picture than my 4 year old Samsung tv but it isn't. But it is much better than the Samsung 6900 and 7000. I'll put my old tv back in the living room and put this one in the bedroom.

Great tv with awesome color and picture quality!!!

Samsung is my favorite TV brand. I like the brilliant colors and overall performance. I also like the quality of the 40w sound system built into this model. I have found that it meets all my needs and I do not require a sound bar. I will be looking to get a Samsung 75 inch next!!!

This is our second smart tv and the apps that can be installed are great! We have a firestick and this tv gets all the apps that I could only get on my phone and not on the stick. Picture quality is great and the speakers that are installed with the tv work well too. Definitely happy with this purchase.

I am able to follow action scenes better than old Samsung. This includes sports such as Football and Hockey. Real easy to follow puck in Hockey. Setup with DirecTv and LG Sound bar was easy. There is an issue with sound at times but easy to resolve. Am unsure if problem is Tv related or sound bar.

I looked at many different options before making this purchase and settled on this TV. The price was a great deal for the features it packs, and added some additional things like the better speakers vs. the Vizio option that just was released. Overall very happy with the Samsung brand and what it delivers!

I upgraded from a 7 year old Samsung and this TV is a whole lot sharper, brighter, and the Smart TV features work lots better. It was priced well when I looked at alternatives in a 55" screen. My only disappointment: The TV stand does NOT pivot. I've found an alternative which is working well.

I’ve never paid any attention to the Series Rating on a TV until I tried this TV! I’m a different person now... The people on the 8000 series look like they are in your living room. It’s a whole different world for me!! Now, I’ve gotta check out that Q series. No more bargain basement TV for me!

Our prior LG has the backlight go out so it was time for a needed upgrade. We have a Samsung 40" LCD that's turning 10 in the bedroom and has given no issue. This 55" is in the living room and handles everything well. Great picture and sound quality and Samsung's apps are updated often.

I love this Samsung TV! The picture quality is amazing! I had to tweak a few of the settings to get it right where I wanted but that is to be expected! This has a fantastic image and was well worth the money! Samsungs Premium TV's are always well worth it!

It took awhile to get used to the motion of the tv. It has so much clarity that it feels like your on the set of the shows. It was really distracting at first, but you get used to it. The remote is a little touchy to navigate. I prefer the functionality of our cable remote over the tv remote.

I was ready to upgrade and increase the size of my TV. After looking at dozens of floor models, we stopped at the Samsung 55 inch. The sales associate was very helpful and really made me consider the options and the room it would be located in. I'm VERY happy with my choice! It's an excellent TV.

Every time I watch this TV I am elated with my choice. I did lots of research (reading tons of reviews from many sources, not just BestBuy). The overall positive reviews of this product convinced me that it was the greatest value for my money. I had a Panasonic 50 inch high definition plasma tv for 12 years and only decided to get a new TV for the 4K resolution. The upscaling feature is phenomenal. I have been going back thru my DVD, and Blu-Ray collection and watching many of my favorites again, just to see the difference that upscaling makes. My wife says it's like you are looking out a window and seeing it in real life. Love the smart remote (the Bixby feature is great) that came with it, after a brief learning curve. I like how the TV will automatically switch to the disc player when I insert a disc. After almost a month, am still learning about features that it has. Would buy Samsung again, and recommend to anyone, with absolutely NO reservation.
