    Picture isn’t as great as I thought it would be. Kinda sux you have to tweak everything when you watch 4K stuff as to 1080 etc. HDR that you can’t turn off,is muddy sometimes on onboard Netflix. Blu-ray plays It better. Overall it’s ok for the price. Wouldn’t have bought it if my other tv didn’t go out on me.

    Excellent TV, Samsung makes some great screens, deep blacks and vivid colors. Only downside, and still not impressed after all these years is the smarthub. Could be a lot better interaction and stability.

    The UI on the TV is much faster than previous generations. The image quality is excellent. I have not found anything negative about this TV other than having another HDMI port or two would be nice.

    First one ended up getting a dead pixel within the first 15 days. Exchanged it for another. Smart apps work fine. The remote is kind of pointless. I like using bixby to turn game mode on and off.

    I am a repeat Samsung purchaser. Best Buy offered a great deal and came through! I am also pleased with the installation from the Geek Squad! And all this from an online purchase! Fantastic!

    Satisfied. When the tv was being installed, my existing cable box did not work with the tv. I had to get an upgraded cable box for the tv to function. This possibility was never mentioned as a potential problem during the sale process.

    TV has a good picture but not too of the line. Don’t get me wrong it better than a lot of other TVs but it not as good as the get. The only other thing is the sound need to be adjusted just right or purchase a sound bar with this unit.

    Good colors and decent black background. It is not the best TV, but for the price it is very good. I looked at Consumer Reports and it is rated hight. I would buy another if I needed one.

    Haven't had any issues. Would definitely purchase again. But unfortunately my son broke the screen and it was not covered under the extended warranty I purchased

    Connections must be carefully and securely done so to avoid picture problems. Like freezing up. My new HDTV freezes up on occasion. I turn TV off wait & turn on seems to work for now. And geek squad is super expensive. Might fine a another cheaper installer. Not a cheap one.

    Had to do a lot of tweaking to get a nice picture. Had a Sharp Aquos for years but I wanted to try the Samsung but would go back to the Sharp brand. The size of the screen is nice but not really happy with the picture.

      The NU8 Series is designed with several preset picture modes and custom settings, allowing you to adjust images to your liking.
      The Dynamic Mode is the brightest among all presets. Standard Mode is ideal for home and regular viewing.
      Movie Mode is the closest setting to calibration the way the director intended as it uses less enhancement and will likely result in the truest picture.

      In addition, the quality of the image on your screen also depends on your source and connection.
      HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4K content will provide the best picture quality.
      The quality of your streamed content depends largely on the speed of your internet as most content providers have adaptive streaming that will automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.

    picture quality is great! but the sound is a bit weird...too much of the quiet and loud during shows and movies but i seem to get that even with my sound bar on. still trying to play with all the settings, to make sure it’s not something i have inadvertently set.

    Overall this is a pretty good TV. Upgrading from 40" Samsung from 8 years ago. No dead pixels, Crisp pixture, High resolution. Only complaint is all the bloatware that's pre-installed on this device. I wish there was a way to remove it to simplify the interface.

    We cut Dish and are currently now using Hulu and antenna systems, needed an upgraded TV and all works great, no more cable or satellite systems for us. Thank you

    Samsung NU8000 is on the higher end of this class and TV size, thus, warranting the premium price. The display quality is gorgeous. It’s user-friendliness is worth noting. The set up took about 5-10 minutes and the TV interface is extremely easy to work with.

    As a previous person wrote this tv has begun making a ticking noise from the rear. Ive owned 5 different samsung tvs all have have been great quality. This one is different.... After about 2 weeks it began making a ticking noise from the back. Usually happens at least three times a minute. At first I gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking it was just the expansion and contraction of parts warming and cooling. Or possibly The plastic on the rear creeking from being wall mounted. It is none of the above this is an audible distraction coming from inside the tv. Of course when I go to call customer service its out of their 15 day return policy by less than a week. And basically said that any other action would just cost me money. What a bad joke when youre paying 1k for a tv you would expect better from best buy and samsung. This will be the last thing I buy from bestbuy and samsung. Beyond aggravating.

    Allowed us to cut the cord, using Hulu now and amazon prime. The only thing I could not get done is to be able to power on and off my sound bar with the remote.
