    A beautiful picture with all the app features we need. Definitely worth it for the price point and the screen saver to download our own photos is a nice touch. We've now had this TV for over 4 years with no issues. The sound could be better but, we just bought a sound bar.

    Spent over an hour in the phone with best buyjust to get my name off this account. Now i just get 5 emails a day for something i nevet signed up for.

    Field of depth is worse than my 1080p tv, rendering rate is also worse. Also quality in close ups and far shots look better on my Vizio 1080p

    The internal internet mechanism broke after only 2.5 months. Looks like a common problem with this manufacturer and model. Stay away!

      I am very sorry to hear of your app and connection issues. Please check that you have the latest firmware update on your Q60R TV.

      In addition, please:
      1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).

      2) Minimize interference by turning off other wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)

      3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.

      4) Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > General > Network > Network Status.
      The network status test will finish and show the status of your network connection.

      If the test concludes that the unit needs service, please contact us via any of the following options:

    Great picture with Xfinity 4K cable box

    Easy pairing with a Samsung sound bar and the Xfinity 4K cable box. After some tweaking found the Natural picture mode provided a better picture than the Movie mode under my low light conditions. Bixby is useless and rarely use the ambient feature. Lots of Samsung apps to supplement my 4K Fire Stick.

    I initially purchased an LG nano-cell (8600 model) and I didn't like the picture (the edge lit local dimming created display uniformity issues). Full array was out of my budget, so I went with the Q60. The picture is great, and the edge lighting is not nearly as noticeable.

    2018 vs 2019 49" 55" 65"

    Ask for a 2018 model! Picture, performance, contoller are exactly the same but to look at these side by side oh man what a difference. Lets start with the bezel. (2019) Black plastic, quite a bit wider all around looks cheap (2018) Brushed aluminum, thiner all around with a angled stylish bottom. Stand (2019) Plastic feet, hidden cord technology plastic clips that stick out (2018) Aluminum feet, hidden cord tech actually built inside with slide feature. No comparison side by side. 2018 looks and feels like a higher quality tv i had to take my 2019 back got another 2018. I suggest you do the same before the 2018 are all gone.

    Samsung can do better

    I had to replace my 2 year old Samsung and ended up with this beast and this IS a beast compared to my beloved former TV. The bezels are an eyesore and the TV just feels very thick and clunky. Also, it's ugly. The stand legs are too tall and there is NO cable management system (one connect) so all your cables hang out and create clutter. I don't know how to describe the picture. It almost makes everything I watch feel super artificial. The sound quality is great though. I will be returning this TV and upgrading to another brand. This TV looks like it would be a top of the line TV in 2015. I'm disappointed and I am now moving away from Samsung for good.

    Overall, a good television if you are using it to watch high resolution movies and programs and/or play video games. If you plan on watching older television shows through platforms such as Netflix and Hulu, you will be deeply disappointed. The quality of shows, for example Will and Grace or even Schitts Creek is very poor and blotchy. Additionally, if you plan on watching in dim lighting, you will see that the brightness does not go nearly as high as it needs to for an enjoyable viewing experience. In darker scenes, the picture is nearly unwatchable. There are better options out there for the price.

      We also recoommand you to try manually adjust the Brightness under Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.
      This model features Eco Sensor to adjust TV brightness automatically by measuring the light in your room and optimizing brightness to reduce power consumption.
      If you want to turn this off, go to > Settings > General > Eco Solution > Ambient Light Detection
      • If the screen is too dark while you are watching TV in a dark environment, it may be due to the Ambient Light
      • Detection function.
      • The eco sensor is located at the bottom of the TV. Do not block the sensor with any object as doing so can decrease picture brightness

      4. The quality of streaming content depends largely on the speed of your internet, as most content providers have adaptive streaming that would automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.

    No Composite Video Connections. How Sad ? Samsung needs to add composite video connections to these new TV models. Buying and using a digital converter just don't work like it should for older game consoles like Nintendo Wii.

    purchased this tv along with the 5 year protection. 3 weeks after purchasing the sound board went out and samsung repaired the tv. Recently from january 2022 to march 2022 best ordered a new sound board to repair the tv again and they ordered the wrong part. The second board was ordered and sent to my home and was bad out of the box. The 3rd unit came and they installed it and the picture problem went away. it is now march 11th 2022 and i am still having the issue where the tv will turn on by itself i explained this to geek squad and they still want to repair the tv. i figured they would consider the tv a lemon and give me credit to purchase a new one per the warranty i purchased. very disappointed.
