    Purchased tv as well as sound bar. Much of the time the lips are not synchronized with the audio so can be off-putting. Not sure if they can be synced better.

Please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1560.5 which includes updates to address any lip sync or audio delays that may be occurring. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
