They never told me I needed a Universal Remote to use with TV. Never told me I needed a different cable to set up my Sound Bar. Never told me I needed another Cable to set up Head phones. Product Good Service Sucked

You can control your connected devices using your TV remote by following these set-up steps:
1) Connect an external device to the HDMI port of the TV, and then power on the external device. Your TV will automatically recognize the device when connected through HDMI, and will switch the output. If it doesn't automatically detect it, then keep following the steps to set up Universal Remote.
2) Press the Home button on your TV remote to access the Home Screen. Using the directional pad on the remote, navigate to Source. When the selector is placed over Source, the Source menu will appear. Press UP on the directional pad to access Universal Remote.
3) Select Universal Remote on the Source screen. Next, select Start and make sure the device you want to connect is turned on. When your desired device displays, select it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and register the device. The instructions may vary, depending on the device type selected.
4) Your TV and the remote will memorize the external device and its connection port (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.) to make controlling everything even easier. Occasionally, the device may not respond after it's registered. To make sure the connection is made, you need to re-register the device.
Your soundbar and headphones can be set up via Bluetooth. For assistance setting these up, or with any other feature or functions, please contact Samsung Customer Support.

What Happened to Samsung?

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV replacing a previous 10 year old model with screen damage (also Samsung) and our other TV is a 15 year Samsung which has never had a problem. With cutting the cable, Smart TV's are more important then ever and now, 20 months after purchase, I have a Samsung "Dumb" TV. Out of nowhere, the WiFi stop working. Called Samsung support after trying to reboot the system several times and after having me "T.I.O ... T.I.O..." (turn if off, turn it on) twice, the "support tech" advised me the WiFi connector on the TV is shot, they only have one year warranty, so nothing I can do. It will no longer connect to the internet. Then, I couldn't be believe he told me this, he told me to go by a chromecast or something. I've been a loyal Samsung everything for 20+ years but this might be my last product. The quality of there products aren't what it use to be and the quality of their customer support seems to have gotten even worse.

I called as soon as it happened and I was told to bring it back a swap it. When I brought it back the next day the manager said they would do the swap and they don’t take broken tv s back I just wish I was told this the night before.
