Do Not Buy.

There are better TVs at this price point or for 100$ more. The edge backlights are just bad. It was VERY noticeable watching a movie at night time in any dark scenes and even noticeable in non-dark scenes. I had it for one day and it brought nothing but disappointment.

Buyer Beware

I’ve only had it 3 days and everyday the wifi has to be reset. It seems each time you turn it off, it’s shuts off the wifi and you need to reset. I didn’t have this problem on the tv I replaced. Fortunately my modem is 2 feet away and I just installed a wired and that has solved the issue. So, if you’re modem isn’t close by to run an Ethernet cord, good luck.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q70T TV and for your review. I am very sorry you are experiencing WiFi connection issues. A new firmware update has recently been released which may help improve your connection. (1460.9 released on 12/7/20)
Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.
You may also want to enable automatic updates for future convenience.
Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

No receipt for purchase of cash cable

Otherwise. Need a refund of cash because it is theft !!!

Too large for a bedroom

The "feet" on either end of the Samsung needed too large a stand. So we are waiting for your San Rafael, CA store to open to have them deliver another TV for us and pick up this one--which is where they put it on May 5th.

Tried to get a new tv on exchange and found that there had been multiple returned for the same problem, Not sure if it was the quality the tv or if it was damaged in shipping.

There are several preset picture modes and many custom settings that can optimize image quality for your viewing scenario.
Go to HOME > SETTINGS > PICTURE > PICTURE MODE and choose:
1) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
2) Standard: This is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
3) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
4) Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
5) Filmmaker: Watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is.
You can further fine tune it to your liking via Exper settings.

TV Samsung

It was suggested that something was wrong. It was returned and we just got the new one but haven't hooked up yet.

The only way that a reboot was successful was to unplug the television. Doing this multiple times a day was unacceptable. Television was returned.
