    Annoying default setup behavior

    The increasing amount of "smart" features on these TVs is getting incredibly annoying, for example how it defaults to the Samsung home page app every time you turn it off and on again, but it otherwise has a great picture for the price.

      Hi Milo,

      While your Q7F TV may currently default to Samsung TV Plus when powered on, you can customize what your TV does at startup by adjusting the Start Screen Options.

      To do this, navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Start Screen Option and choose from the following:
      1. Start with Smart Hub Home – Automatically launches Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. You can enable or disable this option based on your preference.
      2. Autorun Multi View Casting – If you cast YouTube content from your mobile device, the TV will automatically display the content using Multi View.
      3. Autorun Multi View Mirroring – When you screen mirror your mobile device, Multi View will automatically open to show your device’s screen.

    Specs wise i believe there are a bit better options but this TV has the longevity and warranty and so far, there are no complaints!

    Not totally impressed with Samsung QLED. Some channels audio is way too low. Picture quality so so. Hoping maybe thingscwill improve once I get signed up for YouTube tv and disconnect from cable company.

    Great TV for a great price. A needed upgrade from an older TV where the processer was slow loading with the streaming apps. Problem solved!

    Samsung 55 inch QLED TV was a great investment. My old TV (Plasma-50inch) lasted nearly 20 years. I am looking forward to this one lasting as long.

    Easy to set up, luv the "no battery" remote. The Bluetooth features are welcome as well. Did have to call suppott regarding remote. They were very helpful. Didn't have to wait very long and they fixed my issue promptly

    The sound isn't very good at times. Volume is not very loud at times, it needs to be turned up.

To start, we recommend making sure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates can include improvements to sound performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update

      If volume levels still seem too low, you can improve sound performance by adjusting a few key settings:

      Sound Mode: Navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
      • Standard: Balanced for everyday viewing
      • Optimized: Enhances effects and creates a more spacious sound
      • Amplify: Boosts mid and high tones, especially helpful if dialogue is difficult to hear

      Auto Volume: This feature helps maintain consistent volume levels across content and input sources. Turn it on under: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On

      You can also explore Expert Settings to fine-tune sound output with adjustments for Balance, Equalizer, and more.

      If you’re considering enhancing your setup, Samsung’s Q- and S-Series Soundbars (like the HW-xxx) feature Q-Symphony, which syncs your TV and soundbar speakers for a fuller, more immersive sound experience.

    Better volume than most Samsung TVs but if I had the choice, I’d probably go with a LG or Sony. I don’t like the idea of a TV being entered in “sleep” mode. Also, I received threatening messages from the “plug in” manager.

    This TV is really great especially for the price. It has features I didn't expect like some live TV and the ability to download apps from your phone. Easy to use and navigate. The brightness leaves a little to be desired, but overall, I am pleased with this purchase
