Extremely easy setup and great picture quality. My LG OLED developed pixel burn in so it was time to get something else. This looks like a great replacement and I hope will definitely outlast the overpriced OLED (40 months before picture quality was shot). Go Samsung if you have any doubt between Samsung and LG.

The TV overall is AMAZING, the picture looks incredible, and watching tv is great, the only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the “local dimming feature” if you can even really call it that, I noticed VERY BAD halo affect around loading times in games and other dark apps, there are big light spots wherever it’s loading is what I mean. Other than that it’s amazing. Samsung just needs more local dimming on their “cheaper” TVs

I have been shopping for a new TV and knew that Samsung products what I wanted based on previous purchases. This TV did not disappoint. It is an excellent TV, and I am glad I purchased it. It has excellent picture quality. The sound quality is typical of most TVs. But sound can be enhanced with a sound bar. I am very satisfied, and I highly recommend this TV.

I was excited to get another 4k tv. I had an LG but the backlight died. I got this Samsung 4k QLED because it advertised all of the blended features such as internet access, streaming, picture quality, Alexa connection and more. Lets say this TV was a BIG LET DOWN. It is the most I have EVER spent on an electronic device minus my desktop computer. I'll start with the apps. I have to use an external roku device because Samsung's interface cannot hold a good connection with streaming services. I was extremely angry about this as it was the main reason for buying this type of tv...reducing the connected devices. BUT NOPE!! It will not play video from a website like the History Channel because of the type of video player Samsung is using. I have to connect my laptop and use an HDMI port to view any external video that is not a paid streaming service. It's like I went back 15 years in technology. I swapped out my modem, router and even hooked it up with a USB cable. It made no difference to stopping the TV from continuously dropping out. BUT while using an independent Roku device I had absolutely no issues. The tv setup process has a connect to Alexa feature. I thought...Cool. NOPE. Again, I was let down. Excitedly I went online, connected the tv and my Alexa together. I got confirmation of connection and yet the tv gives me a failure message when trying to use it. So much for having Alexa change the channel or turn up the volume by voice. Now the screen image. I tried using some of the "advanced" technology settings for smoothing out the picture and I ended up with degraded images over multiple resolution sources. The tv cannot adjust from 480, 720 or 1080i source resolution. If I adjusted it for Prime TV then moved over to Netflix, the 4k images would be blurry like looking through a rain-soaked window and vice versa. Even 4k source was horrible. Trying to adjust settings to get more image out of the blackness made it so any live tv source had the quality of a 1970's tv using rabbit ears. Very grainy. I cannot believe that Samsung thought this was such an upgrade. To think that to have nice quality from 4k sources I have to have crappy images on the other sources is ridiculous. I am upset nearly 65% of the time I watch programs on this tv. We love documentary, history and such programs. If there is any old footage shown the tv cannot disseminate the image and the pixels dance making viewing impossible. There is 1/3 of the right bottom corner of the screen that if anything plays across it that was originally filmed using a green screen that corner has a pixelated wavy texture. Even when the image is still (like watching the weather forecast or news) the corner "wiggles". Most of the time the tv image is smeared, it's exceptionally dark (adjusting any lighting blows the colors way out of natural tones) and it doesn't have a quality continuous connection using the Samsung apps. I resorted to overriding the TV, deleting the Roku app from the internal settings and forcing it to play Prime TV, Netflix and HBO max through my Roku device connected by HDMI. It's disgusting. The sound mostly is nice, but it has glitches. Randomly the tv will get really loud for five or ten seconds. I removed all ambient settings for sound, yet it still does it. The tv has had about 50 really loud snap sounds come from the back like when an electronic has a static issue. Lastly, the remote. It has maybe ten buttons. Had to buy a universal remote because you cannot click a feature straight up. The remote requires toggling thru features by clicking a single button repeatedly to change a feature, find the input source or to find the number pad. STUPID!! Additionally... ONLY one remote can be used at a time. If you buy a duplicate remote to be able to have multiple ones for big rooms, they won't work. Being the original remote connects via blue tooth, if a second one is tried to be connected it overrides the first one making it obsolete. Tossing a remote around the room to let everyone have a go for picking something out to watch is maddening. I ended up buying two cheap $10 infrared remotes that have everything accessible in one click and they will connect simultaneously. I was so excited about this tv at Best Buy, but I should have listened closer to the sales guy. We were told Best Buy does not display the tv's using a connection to the internet. There actually is a demo program played thru all of the tv's to play up all of the "super great features and qualities" and what we would get at home would not be comparable. ONE WORD.....SAD.

This TV meets my expectations. I was looking for a TV that would be compatible with the PS5, with the combination of having a 120hz 4k display and dedicated game mode I could not have asked for anything better. It also gives movies more depth than regular 4K TV's. The built-in speakers are pretty good, especially having 4 speakers (located on the top and bottom) instead of the usual 2.
