My room has a lot of sun during the day and the picture totally adjusts. Great sound compared to my last (7 years old) samsung. Wouldn't hang with my old wall mount so I got new screws for just a few dollars and went up without a hitch. Didn't need to buy a new one.

I love the sharpness of the picture and the colors. I am 70 years old and this is no doubt the best TV I have ever owned...and I have owned quite a few. Even as senior citizen I can operate this TV no problem. I am very happy with it and just amazed. I think what a great age we live in to have such a marvelous invention

Excellent TV

It replaces an older Samsung 46" TV. The new TV is superior in every way. The TV has a center stand which worked better on my table than the TVs with 2 legs on the outside edges of the screen. The old TV remote does work with the new TV.

It has been a chore to learn how to use the emote control. My wife is really having difficulty with seeing the buttons unless she puts the control directly under a right light. It would also e nice if you could hold the up or down sound button and it would continue to increase of decrease. As it is, you must push the button over and over again to increase and decreasae the sound,

To further assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of the remote, you can download the Solar Cell Remote Guide directly from Samsung’s website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the Q80A under QLED 4K TVs > A Model Lineup.

A Great 55" QLED that won't break the bank!

Great brightness and color adjustment to detail. Calibrated great on Rratings, so it's one of my smaller favorites now. Probably the best TV speakers out of the last 13 tv's I have bought from anywhere!!!

Also after owning one for about 7 or 8 days I made a tough choice to take back, considering that the speakers sounded great and it has that auto surround and action sensing feature! However, the speakers started shorting when I raised the volume past 20, it went out on one side then came back then it seemed like that cool action sensor was just inaccurate at times.

Samsung does a good job integrating streaming apps. Only downside is that you should be able to have it start up on the last app used. For some reason, it won’t start up on YouTube TV as needed. Not sure if this is a problem with YouTube TV or Samsung.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q80A TV and for your review. Please know that you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Settings > General > Smart Features
1) When you set Autorun Smart Hub to on, the TV displays the Home Screen automatically when you turn the TV on.
2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. Please know that the Last App Used function may not work with all apps.

All that I expected

This model puts my old one to shame. Upgrade does not adequately describe it. The clarity, the color, the sound they're all amazing. I generally stream shows and watch live tv such as sports. My son is a video game lover and absolutely loves the graphics. It is a perfect fit for my family.

This one is the 55 inch model and a little more advanced. It is a thing of beauty and has a wonderful picture. I use my old Bose 5.1 System for audio and it makes a great combination. Would definitely buy Samsung again!

Picture quality is top notch, was able to get rid of my Roku box as all the apps are right on the tv. Just be sure you take of the screen protector so you don't feel silly calling customer service about a screen issue! Very Happy!
