I made this purchase for my mom, but it seems like a pretty good TV. The operating system is the only hurdle I’m having and thats just because I’m not familiar. I liked that the remote is rechargeable via a small I guess you’d call it a solar panel on the back of it.

Love this Samsung! I originally purchased a Sony but was not pleased with the picture quality and the side-angle view was blurred. Color and picture on the Samsung is vibrant and beautiful!! I'll never steer from Samsung again!

My wife and I bought the 65" version of this television four years ago and loved it, so we decided to put this 55" in our guest bedroom, and it looks amazing!! Netflix and other streaming platforms look great!

Love this TV, so far (had it for 3 days now). Every thing is great, but I had 2 problems during installation, both my fault. First, I could get my TIVO remote to work the TV volume and power functions. This is because I placed the sound bar in front of the remote receiver on the TV. Once I moved the sound bar, it worked fine. Second, the ARC connection to the sound bar would work. Turns out I plugged the cable into the wrong HDMI port on the sound bar. It works fine now. I'm normally not such a clutz and consider myself technically astute, so don't overlook the obvious when you install something like this.

Great tv, a little pricy and I bought the 55” best Samsung out there. To be honest I wish I had gone large being that we have a Samsung 60” in my back room. Such as life!! It has a great picture thou, I wouldn’t trade it for the world!!

Great TV. Good price and great picture. Easy to set up. Nice sound quality with built in speakers. Sound bar not necessary unless you are using in a very large room.

This tv is the route to go, you want be disappointed, we are much happier with this tv than the one-step below, I would recommend spending the extra money it's well worth it. The quality picture blows you away.

Samsung is #1 I bought this tv for my family room, and the quality is very very good . the kids also use it to play video games and they really see the difference on the graphics.

The picture is clear and worked perfectly in the sunroom. We had a Samsung 65" TV in the sunroom and my wife thought it was too big for the space so we downsized and couldn't be happier. It has all the latest features and apps.

Absolutely love this tv! I watched tons of reviews before purchasing and this seemed to be the best option within budget. This is my first Samsung tv because I’ve always had Sony’s. I’m pretty sure I’ll stick within for a while.

We bought a 55" Samsung TV and it has a beautiful picture. A plus was that it also comes with free viewing channels which we didn't know until it was installed.

Picture is great. This is our first smart TV and we still haven't figured out all the things this set does and offers. Learn something new every day. The Best Buy TV salesperson was excellent in helping us with our selection.

We purchased this particular TV on the recommendation of a friend. The picture quality is so much better than our previous TV. I am disappointed, however, that the voices spoken are not in sync with the movement on the screen. Something I find very annoying. After contacting the Geek squad who wasn’t able to help, he gave me the number to call Samsung directly. None of their suggestions worked. They advised me to contact our cable company and update our equipment. I did as they suggested and now have all new cable equipment. The problem is still there. I’m very disappointed that this issue couldn’t be resovel.

After looking for a new living room TV for about 9 months I purchased the Q80A. Because of a large west facing picture window, angle of viewing and brightness were critical. This TV performs very well in bright light.

The TV is wonderful, picture is great, sound is clear. The only thing is they should provide instructions for the remote, which is very hi tech. Instructions would help older users a great deal.

Great tv for room with a lot of natural light. The sound on this is great and it has option for displaying background ambience instead of just having a dark tv hanging there.

Purchased this model to replace a failing 4 to 5 year Q7 series. The sound is very good. The picture is somewhat disappointing. Not sure if it's due to the decreased refresh rate (from 240 to 120) or just a different display technology. I performed all of the updates and spent several days at hours at a time attempting to regain the picture that we were accustomed to viewing. I finally achieved something that was..."acceptable". The solar chargeable remote was....."interesting" once I got it to pair and work with the TV. I still get better results from my universal remote. Maybe I should a opted for a Q90 series..... Maybe next time. I might recommend this to someone who is on a budget and hasn't had better comparative.

Amazing picture and sound. If your TV has a speck on the bottom left corner of the screen, it’s not a defect just remove the protective film. Crisp image, amazing sound. All the other perks of it i have yet to check out.

Packaged well. Quality product. Very easy to connect and setup. The Samsung auto setup features make this unit a dream to setup and watch in no time.

Love this TV. Beautiful picture quality and I easily get over 120Hz game play with my PC at 2560x1440. Around 90Hz at 4K. This is based off of me playing COD Modern Warfare.
