Thatwould happened once a hour or so. Went to forums to troubleshoot nothing help had to go buy a sound bar it didnt fix issue but made it better. Now sound cuts out once a day. The employees were awesome every helpful. For what I payed id expect the best of the best with no issues. This is not best buy fault.

Thank you for your review of the Q80A TV and for sharing your details of your sound cutting out.
If the audio drop issue is happening when connected via HDMI, the HDMI cable is most likely the cause. We recommend you replace the HDMI cable with a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.
Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
