      Thank you for your review of the 2021 55” Q80A QLED 4K Smart TV. QLED TVs use Quantum Dot technology which powers over a billion brilliant shades of vivid and lifelike colors that stay true regardless of the scene’s brightness.

      You can choose from different Picture Modes to suit your preferences. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode to choose from (Standard, Natural, Movie, Dynamic, & Filmmaker Mode. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.)

      Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and your content.

    Disappointed in this 55"Samsung Q80A

    Disappointed in this 55" Samsung Three stars very generous; should go 2 star ....Watch a lot news & Anchorman Faces often washed out - I tried change settings over past year but still just not a great picture.. Picture clarity & sharpness not as good as My larger 75" LG of nearly same price.. nor my significantly lower price TCL 55" - both those looks better. Also I wanted better voices clarity so got this Samsung & the sound bar Best Buy tech suggested to optimize voice clarity -with set up or TV & sound bar by Best Buy total tech guys. But Still harder to understand British accents on this Samsung set up vs my other TVs listed .. Over the years I have had multiple Samsung tvs & have been a big Samsung fan in past - but no longer.

    Like the size and the pedestal stand. Geek did a nice job of setting it up. Adjusting the volume and changing channels is a two step process that l don’t like. I have a 46” Q set purchased eight years or so ago and volume and channels up and down like it should be. The store employees knew nothing of this when purchasing which is troubling, what

    Love the TV. Definitely does not get as dark as I would like or as an OLed but I needed the brightness that this can reach more to fight off our glare. Love the UI and apps, great amazing 4k, my significant other loves how great Encanto looks now!

    Initially picture quality was great, then started to experience backlight bleed through in the upper left hand corner after about a month. Returned item do to issue. Other than that great tv.

    The tv was installed but the picture was going dark to light. We called Best Buy and they immediately said not a problem and they replaced it within a couple of days. We are very happy with the replacement and very satisfied with the service.

    The TV was delivered at scheduled time. We set up the TV with Google TV by ourselves. It works perfect though we needed to adjust the colors several time. I think that it's a good deal for us at the Best Buy store.

    So I spent 1,190 on this new tv that is supposed to be the latest and greatest. I had a Samsung and this is the latest version. The screen on my old one got busy in my most. Well Warremty at BB won’t cover that. So why have a Warremty? I get this new tv and 7 weeks later the pic just goes out. The tv flickers off and on a few times. So I don’t have the Geek Aquad but Samsung will repair it. A week after my only tv went out. Now ai see this has happen to other people with Samsung so take note people cuz it is frustrating. Someone is on there way today. They will go “Yelp screw don’t work” order a part and I have to wait for that to come in then they schedule a new apnt. Many people have talked about it some times just shutting off. Mine started out like that. It would just shut off. Just randomly. Then it became more frequent. Now before all these problems I will tell u yes! Awesome TV. But now I will tell u I wish I really looked into the reviews. I looked at over all retinas and they are high. But look at the 1 stars. Btw- repair guy Fromm Samsung is here now. He and it will be 4 weeks for the part to come on and he said “Yes” with this stab and model regardless of size a Samsung is expereing issues. I had mine a whole 7!weeks. Not happy.

    Adal was great! He was very professional, clearly knowledgeable, and friendly. He took extra time to answer questions and made sure that we knew how to operate the devices. It was a joy having him do our installation.

    Very happy with this TV. I got the Q80A for the extra tech over the Q70A and I love the quality of the display. The only thing that would be better is OLED but I was afraid of long term burn in. The Samsung remote and smart things application make the TV even better than just picture quality.

    This television is amazing. It has everything you need. What I love about the most is the Wi-Fi you do not need a cable box you can put it anywhere in your house without wires I would recommend this TV very highly.

    The first television that was delivered was found to be broken during set up. The replacement has been here for 3 weeks and has been superb. I am pleased with all of the features and the television has performed to expectations so far.

    My initial purchase, I had to return because the sound was distorted. When I initially listened to the sound I knew it was no right. I continued to listen for another week and decided to exchange the TV.

    love everything about this TV except the sound volume. I think I,m going to get a sound bar. My hearing is a bit impaired and I am runnuing the volume close to max.
