    TV is a bit awkward to use. Not user friendly. BEST BUY as always was awesome. Purchased this becuase it was rated one of the best for the money.

From there, you can search for and select your TV model to view or download the available guides.

    The product worked great for cable viewing. However fo r any other apps, includding Amazon it was necessary to create a Samsung account. This is not right in my mind.

      Thank you for your review and for sharing your concerns. A Samsung Account is required to access Smart Hub, which powers the core smart features of your TV - including app access (like Netflix and YouTube), service updates, and content personalization.

      Without signing in and accepting the Terms and Conditions, your TV will function in a basic mode - supporting external devices (such as HDMI and over-the-air antenna), but streaming apps and Smart Hub services will be unavailable.

      We understand this requirement may not be ideal for all users, but it’s necessary for full access to Samsung’s smart features and connected services.

    When watching Avatar the picture lacked clarity and the color was sketchy

    So Far, So Good!! Its AI Smart so you have to set the settings to where you want it to be. But everything looks great.

      We appreciate your feedback on the picture quality of Samsung’s Q8F TV. If the image doesn’t quite match your preferences, there are several adjustments you can make to better suit your viewing environment and content type.

      First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

      To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include:
      • Standard – Ideal for general viewing
      • Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces
      • Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency
      • Movie – Best for viewing in low light
      • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the content creator’s intent and disables motion smoothing for supported content

      You can further customize your image by going to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, where you can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Color Tone, Sharpness, Contrast Enhancer and more.

    A solid set for the money. Built in speakers are tinny and don’t produce a robust sound so splurge for a soundbar to get the most out of it.

    Only reason it’s not higher is the reflections of windows show on the screen on days it is bright outside. Overcast or evening, no problem

      We appreciate your feedback on screen reflections with the Samsung Q8F TV. Room lighting plays a significant role in how reflections appear, and while we aim to reduce glare where possible, complete elimination isn't guaranteed.

      For improved glare control, we recommend repositioning the TV to avoid direct light or consulting a professional installer. Samsung’s Glare Free screen is available starting with the QN90F Neo QLED 4K, while Anti Reflection technology is included on select models beginning with the S85F OLED and above.
