Controls are easy to figure out, and was a breeze to get it setup with our cable remote. Amazing contrast and clarity and blacks are super dark, screen has very little glare and looks great in both well-lit or dark room situations. Would recommend this tv to anyone upgrading their home entertainment setup.

When i first watched the Samsung Neo Qled 5t inc h er, I went to "standard" mode and within 30 seconds thr pucture darkened like there was a near total eclipse of the sun. As well, their wad an unsatusfying "brown" tinge in the pi cture. Yuck! I t hen tried the movie modes and the oucture brightened a tinge but the overwhelming brown tinfexwas tgere like yge plague, or a d it st storm haf just blownbin. Then went to "dynamic" mode and the pucture was more like what I was used to with vivid colrs and such, but the overall brightness wax too intense andcreds too vivid. I played around with the settings and finally it got a bit like the old samsung I had, but not that close to thecgoodness Ivonce had. Before this one, my sony had excellent picture quality so im returning this one for a bew sony. U hooe the quality of the bew sony has not c deteriorated like the samsung. Wiuld i recommend this one to a friend? No. But I would say if you bought one. Lots of luck. And I hope you like a brown tint in most everything you watch . I wush I could have the quality of my ols Sam as ung. But i guessxtoday, orice goes up and quality, for the most part, goes out the window
