Samsung 55" Neo QLED television

The picture quality is as good as my older television although there are times when the picture is not crisp. I do see some distortion at times. One con with this television is that it makes a "popping" noise when I change channels. The Geek Squad has been down to investigate the problem. They felt that it was my cable box and perhaps that the cable box should be replaced. I disagreed with them because it never happened on my older Samsung television that was connected to the same cable box.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung QN90C TV and for your review. The expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction. The TV is safe to use.
To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.

I love this TV in the picture quality and especially the sound! I just wish that it was 240 hertz versus 120 hertz, and I feel like the price is a little high even though I got it on sale for $1,500

The instructions for connecting it to my system only exist as a 250 page e-manual. That is unreadable on my phone. I finally printed it out and have been able to connect the sound to my high-quality stereo. But the too-small remote is almost useless compared to my Verizon remote, and it keeps turning on set on different random channels I never want to see and never did. As such, I consider the Settings unstable because it will not return me to where I left off when I turned off the set.
