QN90D - a great follow up to the QN90B

We needed something for my office/game room so naturally, I looked at the QN90 series. The C did not get great reviews so I waited for the QN90D and I am glad I did. This television is fantastic for video games and sports. Picture is clear. Motion rate is excellent!

The colors are bright and the images are so sharp, they show every detail. The added plus is the solar remote. No batteries needed.

But I will tell you getting it home and setting it up I quickly became disappointed. The Samsung has a flaw it has a fixed ratio ( 16:9 ) so some shows are to large and need to be fit to screen but the tv locks you out of this setting!!!! ? A simple setup setting you should have but Samsung doesn’t give you . So for that I tell you purchase another brand.

Thank you for sharing your review. HD channels will have black bars on either side of the screen when displaying upscaled SD (4:3) content. Black bars will appear at the top and bottom of the screen when you watch movies that have aspect ratios different from your Projector. Adjust the picture size options on your external device or set the Projector to full screen.
By adjusting the aspect ratio, you will get the image to fill the screen. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Size Settings > Picture Size
