Love the TV - replaced the remote immediately

Love the be tv. The larger size and crystal clear picture are great for our older eyes. All is great, except for the remote control. It is small and the buttons are dark - terrible for my eyes. Small, thin - easily slips between cushions. Did my research and the Samsung suggested remote is BN59-01301A Replacement for Samsung TV Remote Control - This IS NOT A UNIVERSAL REMOTE. It is specific for this tv and worked directly out of the box. Now is all extremely well.

This oled tv is far better that some really expesive comouter monitors. I was really surprised with the image quality. Gloss reflective glass like finish, and colors super colorful and vibrant. The sound is really clear as well and has deep base tones to balance out the different sounds which is also really nice. Another great feature that sold me on it was its availability to run at 144hz for computer gaming. 120hz for tv and consoles but flawless no lag experience at the same time. I loved this so much that i bought another 42 inch one for another computer in my home.

Fantastic picture quality and premium features — exceeded expectations! I’ve been using the Samsung S90D for a few weeks now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The OLED display is stunning — colors are vibrant, blacks are truly deep, and HDR content looks phenomenal. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or gaming, the clarity and contrast really stand out. What impressed me most is how bright the screen gets for an OLED panel. Even in my bright living room during the day, the picture holds up perfectly. The built-in speakers are surprisingly good too — much better than I expected for a flat-panel TV — but I still paired it with a soundbar for an even better experience. Gaming on this TV has been a joy: low input lag, 120Hz refresh rate, and smooth performance with my PS5. The Smart Hub interface is fast and easy to navigate, and I love that it supports all the major streaming apps right out of the box. If I had one minor critique, it’s that the included stand feels a bit wide for smaller furniture, so wall-mounting might be the best option for some setups. Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung S90D to anyone looking for a top-tier OLED TV — it’s been a fantastic upgrade and has truly elevated my viewing experience.

Im glad i gave Samsung another chance. Last time i have been blown away by the color and picture of a tv was when i bought my sony A90J and well thus tv blows the sony out of the water. The color is so vibrant and the picture is so clear its just outstanding sure i did a few tweaks to the picture but didnt have to do alot it was very close to my liking right out of the box. I just hope this tv holds up over time i guess ill find out.

Deal of a lifetime from Best Buy at 14% of its original MSRP. As for the TV, the S90D certainly makes a strong impact with vivid, lifelike color and silky smooth 144Hz refresh. Uniformity is also a nice step up from my old WOLED. I can't help but notice some detail loss though comparatively. My WOLED was razor sharp, you could see every imperfection (video). The sound (Cinema mode) was also slightly better in the WOLED, though this won't matter with an external sound system. The red cast also takes some time to get used to, but it's not a problem. Dial color down to 18 in PC mode when used with Native space. Or use Auto, but I thought this killed too much of the saturation. I ultimately chose to keep this model, being bigger, newer, and having 144Hz and better uniformity. I also think this model is probably the best OLED value in 2025.

This television is very operator friendly! The picture is amazing and the apps are easy to find. The only drawback is that the remote control is very small. It's very easy to lose it and it's easy to push the wrong buttons due to the size. I would definitely recommend that you buy this because you won't be disappointed.

I've been really happy with Samsung TV's so when I was replacing my 15 year old living room TV I knew what direction I was going. The picture on this one is great - I suppose you could get better if you want to pay a lot more, but I didn't - and it easily hooked up to my Sonos sound bar. True of any smart TV, I supposed, but I've been able to get rid of the Apple TV's and Rokus, which just simplifies things. Also true of other TV's, but it's light and therefore easy to handle.

Fantastic picture. It's noticeably better in the bright living room than our 5 year old LG OLED (same size) or the Sansung Ultra HD we had there before. Unexpected bonus is that I paired it with a new Samsung sound bar and that adds the TV's onboard speakers to the surround sound mix. Amazing engineering.

I've been beyond impressed by the build, picture quality, ease of use with the Tizen OS (really didn't think I'd like it). There are plenty of HDMI ports! The AI features, although probably not great for a true videophile, has been very impressive and easy for a guy that complains about these sorts of things. This TV comes with a built-in Samsung SmartThings hub that supports Matter, Zigbee, etc., which has come in very handy with smart home devices. I'm sure you can find ones that are just as good for less, but the Samsung name and quality, and the future-proofing, also really sold me on this TV! The sound has also been a great surprise! No need for a soundbar or much fine-tuning thanks to the AI. Coming from a solid Sony Bravia (although about 10 years old, but great TV), this TV has upped my level of what I'd want in a new TV!!

So far so good. I’ve been enjoying everything about this tv especially with the sound bar I purchased. I was a little hesitant to try a Samsung again after my last one failed in just a few months but I also have a Samsung Plasma that still works after 20 years. As long as this tv lasts me a few years then it was well worth the purchase. The color is beautiful and it is great for playing video games as well.

We replaced an 18 year old Pioneer Plasma flat screen TV with the Samsung 55" OLED TV. The picture is absolutely perfect and gives us an entirely new experience over our old TV. Had no idea picture quality had gotten so advanced; I don't know how it could get any better. The clarity and brightness are nothing short of fantastic. We also purchased the matching mid-level Samsung sound bar. The TV and soundbar are awesome. Best Buy price was excellent and delivery was very smooth. Now if it can just last another 18 years.

Since my Samsung Neo QLED experienced Back Light bleed after only 2 1/2 years, I purchased a new TV. I’m extremely happy with the Samsung OLED SD90. Every aspect from brightness, color, clarity, and black levels are incredible. Since I have all of the sound routed through my receiver, the TV speakers are inconsequential. Also, the sales staff at the Poughkeepsie location were amazing.

Im coming from a lg c2 ..Im a gamer,so we all know lg tvs all dim out in game mode..not samsung..The picture quality is amazing compared to the lg.also if you are a gamer i highly suggest you get a expensive hdmi cable because they do make a difference. The quality of brightness and color in hdr on game mode is totally insane..i have been doing this for over 20 yrs..i Highly recommend the samsung s90d 55,65 or 77. Those are the quantum dot tvs..and will give you the best gaming experience along with streaming.

Bought the Samsung S90D 55” OLED and I am absolutely loving it. The picture is jaw dropping with deep blacks, vivid colors, and sharp contrast that make movies and games pop. The Smart Tizen interface is fast and intuitive, and all my streaming apps run smoothly without lag. Setup was a breeze. Whether I am watching dark scenes or bright colorful action, this TV handles it beautifully. If you want a high end OLED with great features and reliability, this model delivers. Highly recommend!

I have had this tv for a couple of weeks now, and I love it. I had the LG C1 for 3 years, but decided to replace it after it developed some burn in. I did a lot of research and went with the S90D due to the QD technology and brightness. It took a couple of days to tweak the settings, and now i have a very good SDR picture. But the real show stopper is HDR. It's really beautiful and so much brighter than the C1. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a beautiful TV, the image is sharp and the controls and setup was a snap. A couple of things to note - the "smart" part of this TV doesn't natively support external streaming (chromecast, FCast, etc) and if you do that you'll still need to hook a streaming stick to the back of the thing - which is f-ing annoying. Also, the "auto" picture thing is garbage - this is the thing that's supposed to pick the right picture settings based on what you're watching. This dohickey wants to dial up something that's hyper-saturated and sharp, making everything look clownish. Just go ahead and set things up manually and skip the "auto" smarts. A nice-feature is the ability to adjust the sound delay, which for some incomprehensible reason is set to 60mSec default for the external fiber output. This makes the lip-sync subtly 'off'. And finally, the remote - I really wish it would control both TV and external audio simultaneously as I'd love to try using both soundbar and TV speakers ... but 'no' that doesn't work.
