    I upgraded my 10 year old TV and let me say this. This OLED screen its amazing. Beats it x10 times, it was worth every penny and best part love how it connects woth my samsung sound bar

    This Samsung OLED is fantastic… so far. It is a replacement of the one I recently purchased which lost its audio. It makes me question Samsung’s quality.

    I have this and the LG C2, I’m keeping this over the LG, the HDR brightness and lack of black crush is amazing and the colours have more richness over the C2

    It really is a great tv. But coming from a CX, it just isnt worth it. Yeah the color and brightness are insane, but it actually looks worse than my CX. Terrible Motion Handling, terrible upscaling (anything below 4K looks like crap). Maybe these things will get fixed in future updates, but for now i would recommend and LG c1 or c2 over this if you watch movies. If you game more than you watch content, than this is the tv for you. But even at that the LGs are great for gaming too.

      I'm sorry to hear you're not satisfied with your 55" S95B TV. Please do ensure your firmware is up to date with version 1205.0 which includes various performance updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      The S95B upscales as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.

      Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
      1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
      2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
      3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.
      4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
      5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

      For optimal motion image performance, you may also want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings

      - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
      - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

    Great TV!!! The Best you can get for the price. I returned only because the TIZEN experience isn't that great and because of the 1302 firmware that Samsung released dropped the peak brightness from 1500 to 1000 nits. All in All, if I didn't have a 65"-inch Lg CX OLED. I would have kept it. BEST GAMING TV I'VE EVER SEEN.

    I cannot imagine a better picture. I did not give 5 stars because the software/operating system is unbelievably slow and horrible! Some times it takes us 5 to 10 minutes to get something to work. I frequently have to restart the Wi-Fi even when we check and other devices and they are working. If I wasn’t past the return period I would take it back.

      We appreciate you sharing your experience, and for optimal performance and connectivity, we as that you ensure you've got the latest firmware installed on your S95B TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

      To further optimize the TV’s performance, please also try running Device Care: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

      You might also want to go through these steps to check your network connection:

      1) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)

      2) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point.

      3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

      4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.

    Fantastic OLED with typical punchy vibrant colors that Samsung provides on their AMOLED phone screens. If you’re a gamer, there’s simply no better tv available IMHO. Forget all the tech jargon. If you’re on the fence about the purchase, just go down to your local Best Buy and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

    I bought this TV on Dec 19 to replace a Sony Bravia that failed. I decided to try Samsung because my last two Sony TV's have had issues - and initially the S95B was beautiful! (Note: came with firmware 1310). I used it this way for a couple of weeks, and then decided to connect it to the internet.... and all of the problems started. I knew from the internet that Samsung had some poor firmware updates, so I made sure that I turned auto-update off. Two days later, the TV updated to firmware 1420 anyways - the auto update option still turned off. The picture immediately didn't seem as bright or vivid, but calibration seemed to help. Still not where it had been though - the Sony XBR75-950F that I have actually seems to have a better picture now. Two days later on Jan 20, I tried to turn the TV on to watch the morning news - and nothing. The unit won't power on - 1 week after the return period at Best Buy ended. Would not purchase again.

    I thought the TV was a great replacement for my 12 year old Samsung 52" ... picture was great, lots of great smart TV options... Then it died, 1 year and 7 days after purchasing it. Thankfully I bought the extended warranty... but when you think about it, should I need a $234 fee on top of $1,800 purchase to be protected. I thought Samsung and Best Buy was better than that
