TV Failed / Best Buy & Samsung were ZERO HELP
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't buy this TV and don't expect any help from Best Buy either unless it's within the manufactures warranty...which is only 12 months. I have this TV, it died on my around the 18-month mark and both BB and Samsung told me I was out of luck and that I should have bought an extended warranty. Stay away from Samsung. Best Buy is pretty much the only game in town so you're probably stuck with them...so bake a warranty into your purchase or they'll tell you to suck it.

Bait and switch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My tv showed up without one connect box and wall mount. It was supposed to be brand new but it looks like it was an open box item. Best Buy still has not called me back after they wanted to “investigate”. I think they are trying to play me. Not a grade against the TV. Can’t turn it on.

Samsung is a subpar Product. (Run the other way)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy a Samsung Product. I bought this TV in 2020 and here it is 2022 and need a new panel assembly. This is ridiculous. By a Sony or LG.

Wonderful TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung Frame TV is an outstanding product, seamlessly blending functionality with style to enhance any room's aesthetic appeal. It operates precisely as advertised, contributing to the overall elegance of a well-designed space. However, a noteworthy issue we've encountered is an occasional self-activation of the TV. It's important to note that there are no other individuals or pets in the household, and we are actively exploring the possibility of user error as the root cause. Despite this minor concern, the Samsung Frame TV remains a top-notch choice for those seeking both performance and design sophistication

Stopped working after four years :(
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this four years ago and already stopped working with an error in the motherboard. For a tv this price and brand I would have expected it to last way longer. Not going for Samsung anymore, switching back to Sony.

Beautiful TV with flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful TV with a few flaws. Looks fantastic, we love the art store, the new bezels are much better this year than last. Unfortunately, the video connector that runs from the TV to the box doesn’t fit into the TV outlet properly. The outlet is recessed such that I had to pry it forward to connect the cable. If it was one TV I’d chalk it up to a unique QA issue but I returned my first TV for this problem and the second one had THE SAME problem. So, the frame has a slight design flaw that I’m willing to live with because I don’t want an LG Gallery TV for this room. But I have some concerns the connector will break in the future because it is slightly bent forward to accommodate the connection. C’est la via. The second ‘issue’ is just that as far as I can tell there are no HDMI 2.1 ports. Seems strange for a TV in 2021 to NOT have this feature. Yes, there are some high bandwidth HDMI ports but not 2.1. Has 1 eARC. For my use this doesn’t matter but a warning to others who might be concerned.

Tv keeps rebooting every 3-5 seconds continuously
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Tv in 2020 as a Christmas Present for my wife. 4 years later and the Tv is not working properly. It keeps rebooting over and over every 3-5 seconds continuously. Unfortunately, it’ll cost me $124.99 for the geek squad to diagnose it… while my other Tv a 10 yr old Sony that I bought used is still going strong with absolutely zero issues. It’s frustrating spending over $1,500 on a tv that should last longer than 4 years. To top it off… this started happening with 2 minutes of the SuperBowl. …. Super Bummer…

must buy warranty - dead after 3 years.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product while it worked, looked great. almost 3 years to the day after buying it, the TV was stuck in a boot loop. had service out, requires a new LCD at cost of close to $1k (paid 1400!). a bit of research on the web, this is a common problem - don't buy. if you do, but extended warranty.

What a waste
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute garbage don’t waste your money. I have a plasma 2007 tv from Panasonic that still works fine but my 1.6k Samsung frame won’t stop shutting off and on. Technician says screens bad. 900 to replace. This tv was bought in 2020. Shame on Samsung for putting out trash we have to replace every few years. You should stand behind your products and replace my tv.

Worst Purchase of a TV Ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It wont stay connected to the internet, the remote is very fussy and frequently requires us to pull the batteries out and reinsert them, YouTube TV worked one day, then wont work the next. Should also say, I have no problem with my other devices getting and keeping a connection with the WiFi, but this TV has to be unplugged and re-plugged to get it to connect to the modem. I should have know after a terrible experience with Samsung appliances to avoid this brand like COVID. Do Not Buy This TV!

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Frame TV and for your review. I am very sorry you are experiencing internet connection issues. A new firmware update has recently been released which may help improve your connection. (1460.9 released on 12/7/20)
Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.
You may also want to enable automatic updates for future convenience.
Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.
I am very sorry that you are experiencing issues with your remote. There are a number of reasons why your remote may not be working. The most common are physical damage, battery issues, or pairing issues. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps.
1) Reset the remote by removing the batteries & pressing Power for 8 seconds. Then reinsert the batteries.
2) Try to re-pair it with the TV. Press and hold Return and the button that is diagonally up and to the right of Return. (This is usually the button with 4 colored dots, but can vary depending on the remote). This will reset the smart remote.
Stand within 1 foot of the TV and press and hold Return and Play/Pause simultaneously for at least 5 seconds or until a message appears on your TV indicating that the remote is now connected.
If the remote still will not work, contact our Support Center to request service.

Poor instructions, quality, and support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has to be one of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made in three areas... 1) INSTRUCTIONS The instructions are terrible. Small graphics are provided but with no written guidance. For the included wall mount, the instructions provided in in the main box and the instructions provided in the mount box contradict each other! Furthermore, the noted sheetrock anchors needed are not provided on this model, so plan a trip to a hardware store to install as instructed if you have sheetrock walls. 2) QUALITY The remote is cheaply made and stuck to where the battery case could not open. It took 3 youtube videos to figure out how to pry it open. Apparently it's a common quality problem in Samsung remotes, and has been for some time. I took us 30 minutes to get the battery case open. Even worse, the new TV completed died on the second day we had it. Within a few hours the screen "locked up" and the remote and power button on the TV were both unresponsive. Upon rebooting the system, it locked up on the welcome screen. Upon further reboot, the screen only went black. From reading forums, this is apparently a really common issue with Samsung TVs. Apparently Samsung is okay with continuing to produce items with known defects from their remotes to the TVs themselves. 3) SUPPORT With the TV not working after a few hours, I called support. It was as bad as the many online reviews describe. I talked to three Samsung reps over more than an hour, they had no answers and did not have even one troubleshooting step to try. They did not even know that you could get your serial number from your Samsung app. Instead, they were asking me to get my ladder to get the TV off the wall to find it for them! The reps were not caring, were ill informed, and could not do anything but ask me to wait a week for an authorized repair tech to come evaluate it for me to see what it needs. Thankfully I was able to return it. What a waste.
