A great TV for those who don’t need super high definition contrast and complex settings. They liked it so much we got them one to replace the TV in their bedroom as well. Would absolutely buy for one of our kids, dorm room, home gym, etc.

PROS: its a Tv, displays picture, has sound, apps, etc. CONS: Old school remote with number buttons (some may prefer); interface is a little laggy; sound is horrible compaired to other samsung tvs we have. Having the aduio around 20 is probably average. But if you have noise or just want to hear what you’re watching more clearly, having it above 40 or above is used more often than not. Either we have a TV thats a one off of minimal issues or this is the expectation to have of this Tv.

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing with lag. To ensure performance is fully optimized, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. You can easily update from there if necessary.
Next, I recommend utilizing the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.
For sound adjustments, go to Settings> Sound. You can fine-tune the sound by going to Settings> Sound> Expert Settings.
